Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the delay of the adjustment of density and to improve the quality of a formed image by correcting the reflected light quantity from an original based on the reflected light quantity from the original in reference to the original of reference density at plural sampling points at least in a half cycle in which the zero cross point of a power source for driving a copy lamp is taken as a reference. CONSTITUTION:The reflected light from the original by the copy lamp 2 is detected by an AE sensor 5.
