[Conventional technology] Snow accretion accidents on power transmission lines are reported every year, but when it comes to snow accretion accidents on steel towers,
It is generally unfamiliar. However, in reality, ice and snow accretion on steel towers poses as big a problem as the ice and snow accretion on power transmission lines. In other words, the collapse of a steel tower due to ice and snow is not only caused by the effects of ice and snow on power transmission lines spreading to the tower, but is surprisingly often caused by snow accumulating on the tower itself.

In order to prevent such tower collapse accidents, it is necessary to prevent ice and snow from forming on the tower, but until now there has been no effective means for this, and the most practical method is to wrap heater wires around the tower. The methods were only considered.

[Problem that the invention attempts to solve] The method of wrapping the above heater wire around the steel tower is as follows.
It is necessary to supply power from outside, which not only makes the equipment bulky, but also requires a large amount of electricity to have sufficient snow melting effect, making the equipment expensive and requiring constant maintenance and inspection. It wasn't necessarily perfect.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and provides a steel tower mount that does not require the above-mentioned power supply, has a simple structure, is inexpensive, and can exhibit reliable effects. The aim is to provide an ice and snow prevention device, and its gist is to attach heat collection fins to a shape memory alloy wire rod that can change its shape depending on the temperature during ice and snow formation, and to place these around the outer periphery of the steel tower. It's what I did.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing a state in which the snow accretion prevention device according to the present invention is attached to a pipe-type steel tower member 1. 3 is a shape memory alloy wire wound into a coil around the steel tower member 1; 4 is a heat collecting fin attached to the shape memory alloy wire 3 by an attachment piece 5;
Reference numeral 2 indicates a fixing member fixing one end of the shape memory alloy wire 3 to the steel tower member 1, and reference numeral 10 indicates snow that has fallen on these. The shape memory alloy wire 3 is in an elongated state as shown in Fig. 1 at normal temperature, but when the temperature reaches 0°C, for example, when it is frozen and snowed, it becomes a contracted shape as shown in Fig. 2. is memorized. By shrinking in this way, the snow 10 that has fallen on the steel tower member is scraped off by the shape memory alloy wire 3 as the shape changes.

The heat collecting fins 4 are attached to the shape memory alloy wire 3 that has shrunk as described above, so when the snow stops and the sun comes out, the heat collecting fins are loosened and the heat is transferred to the shape memory alloy wire 3. communicated. Then,
The shape memory alloy wire 3 returns to the state shown in FIG. 1, which is the initial memorized shape. Therefore, if there is any new snow that has fallen after the snow has shrunk, it will be scraped off during this return process.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a spring 6 is connected to one end of a shape memory alloy wire 3, and the ends of the connected body are fixed by fixing pieces 2 and 2', respectively. It is fixed and fixed. By connecting the shape memory alloy wire and the spring in this manner, the spring 6 appropriately complements the shape deformation behavior of the shape memory alloy wire 3. Further, by using a spring in combination in this way, another feature can be exhibited in that the amount of shape memory alloy wire used can be reduced.

Furthermore, in FIG. 4, a spacer 7 is arranged around the outer periphery of the steel tower member 1 to form a gap between the steel tower 1 and the shape memory alloy wire 3, which allows the shape memory alloy wire 3 to move smoothly. At the same time, the snow falling effect has been made even better.

Further, FIG. 5 shows an embodiment in which a steel tower member 1' made of angle material is used instead of the above-mentioned pipe as a steel tower constituent member, and the shape memory alloy wire 3 or the spring 6 is not wrapped around it but placed on a flat surface. An example is shown in which it is installed next to the wall.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, according to the icing and snow prevention device according to the present invention,
It is extremely economical as it does not require any power to drive it and does not require maintenance. and,
By winding and arranging the shape memory alloy wire around the structural members of the steel tower in this way, it is effective to prevent the generation of Karman vortices due to wind pressure, and in this sense, it can be expected to have the effect of preventing harmful effects. The significance is enormous.
