Abstract

PURPOSE:To cause a uniform discharging of air to be attained from a blowing port by a method wherein ventilation resistance in an air filter in the central part of a suction port is made larger than the ventilation resistance of air filters at both sides of the central part. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaning filter 25 is arranged on the rear side of a pre- filter 24 and this is comprised of a main frame 26, a filter member 27 and an auxiliary frame 28. The filter member 27 is constructed by adhering a dust collecting filter 29 and a deodoring filter 30. Its ventilation resistance is higher than that of the pre-filter 29. As upper and lower cross-flow fans 6 and 7 are rotated, the ventilation resistance of the filter member 27 is higher than that of the pre-filter 24, so that the amount of air sucked from the upper part and the lower part is higher than an amount of air sucked from the central part. The air sucked from the upper part is discharged from the upper blowing port and the air sucked from the lower part is discharged from the lower blowing port 4, respectively. The air sucked from the central part is branched into an upper flow and a lower flow behind a heat exchanger 11, the amount of air discharged from each of the blowing ports 3 and 4 keeps substantially uniform and so irregular dispersion of temperature within a room is reduced.

Particularly in an air conditioner where the outlet is located above and below the inlet, for example, if the above-mentioned air filter with high ventilation resistance is placed above the inlet, this air filter will reduce the amount of air near the top of the housing. The amount of air discharged from the upper outlet decreases, and when this air filter is placed below the side suction port, the amount of air discharged from the upper outlet decreases. As described above, depending on the arrangement of the air filter, the amount of air discharged from the two outlets may become unbalanced.

This lower blow-off frame 15 also has a lower horizontal blade 17 and a hanging type blade 18 fixed rotatably. Here, the hanging type blade 18 is supported by the lower piece of the lower blow-off frame 15 in a cantilevered manner. In this way, the hanging type blade 18 is also cantilever-supported like the upper vertical blade 14, so it is possible to turn the upper vertical blade 14 upside down (with the rotating shaft 19 facing downward) to form the hanging type blade 18. This allows us to reduce the number of vertical blade parts.

With this air purifying filter 25 and pre-filter 24 attached to the indoor unit 1,
When the unit is operated (both the upper and lower cross flow fans 6 and 7 are rotated), the indoor air flows as shown by the solid line arrow in Fig. 2. In other words, the filter member 27 located at the center of the suction port 2
Since the ventilation resistance of the pre-filter 24 is greater than that of the pre-filter 24 located above and below, the amount of air sucked in from the top and bottom is greater than the amount of air sucked in from the center, and -L section The air sucked in from the top is discharged from the upper Suita port 3, and the air sucked from the bottom portion is discharged from the bottom Suita port 4. Moreover, the air sucked in from the center is divided into two parts behind the heat exchanger 11. in this way,
A filter member 27 with a large ventilation resistance is arranged in the center of the suction port 2, so that air discharged from the upper outlet 3 is directed from the upper part of the suction port 2, and air discharged from the lower suita port 4 is directed to the suction port 2. Since the air is mainly sucked in from the lower part of each, the volume of air discharged from each outlet 3 and 4 is kept approximately equal,
It can reduce temperature fluctuations in the room.

Therefore, when the indoor unit 1 is pressed against the indoor wall surface 40, the main heat insulating material 8 comes into contact with the indoor wall surface 1, and the portion where the snot 32 is provided does not come into close contact with the indoor wall surface 40. Therefore, the indoor air rises along the back plate of the frame 5 as shown by the solid line arrow in Figure 6, and a part of the rising airflow
It flows through the slit 32 into a recess 35 on the back of the frame 5, so that a thermistor 37 detects the room temperature. In this way, the thermistor 37 is made less susceptible to the influence of the heat inside the frame 5 by the air guide member 34, so that the room temperature can be reliably detected by the thermistor 37.

In particular, by providing the second and third wind guide plates 44, 47, the air on both left and right sides of the air flow passage 50 between the fans 6, 7 flows through these two wind guides, as shown by the solid line arrows in FIG. Plates 44.47 cause the flow to flow upwardly and downwardly into respective cross-flow fans 6.7. This stabilized the flow of wind near both the left and right measuring sections of the airflow passage 50. Here, if such second and third wind guide plates 6 and 7 are not provided (see FIG. 9), -
By simultaneous operation of upper and lower cross flow fans 6.7,
The flow of air in the air flow passage 51 is relatively fast and this flow is guided and accelerated by the end plate 52 of the air flow passage 51, and a part of it is inside this passage 51 (weak part 53 of the intake air) as shown by the solid line arrow. ), and some of that air enters the suction port 2.
Occasionally there was vomiting. As a result, the discharge ports 3 and 4
The amount of air blown out from the air conditioner may decrease, or a small amount of dew may form on a portion of the suction port 2 (the portion from which air is discharged) during cooling operation. The solid line A in FIG. 10 shows the relationship between the air volume and the noise when such second and third wind guide plates 44, 47 are not provided, and the solid line B shows the relationship between the second and third wind guide plates 44 and 47. It shows the relationship between air volume and noise when .47 is installed. As shown in FIG. 10, if the second and third wind guide plates 44,47 were not provided, the air flow rate would be reduced by about 0.3 m''/h at the same noise level.
