Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow the continuous use of portable water without impairing the electrolytic effect thereof by providing a control circuit which repeatably impresses a DC voltage to electrodes while inverting the polarity of the DC voltage to be impressed for a short period of time at every prescribed time until a pressure switch is turned off by water feeding and repeats this operation. CONSTITUTION:The pressure switch 9 is turned with a diaphragm 8 by a water pressure in the state of supplying the potable water in an electrolytic cell 1 and the DC voltage is impressed to the two electrodes 2, 3 via a means 10 for impressing the DC voltage and the control circuit 11 while the polarity of the DC voltage is inverted for the extremely short period of time at every prescribed time to form the ion water. The ordinary anode electrode 2 turns to cathode and forms the ion water contg. many cations when the polarity of the voltage inverts, but the inversion time is extremely short and, therefore, the anion water is formed. This operation is reversed on the normal cathode electrode 3 side. The scale sticking to the electrodes 2, 3 is, therefore, eluted and washed at every reversing when the polarity of the DC voltage to be impressed to the electrodes 2, 3 is reversed. The sticking of the scale is thus suppressed and the ion water is continuously formed without impairing the electrolytic effect of the potable water.
