Claims (1)

【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 燃料タンクが複数の貯留室に分割されてお
り、そのうち一の貯留室には燃料供給装置を介し
て液体燃料をエンジンへ供給するための燃料供給
ラインが接続されるとともにこの燃料供給ライン
で送られた燃料のうちエンジンで消費されない過
大な燃料を該貯留室に戻す帰還ラインが接続され
、上記一の貯留室と他の貯留室がサイフオン管を
介して接続されており、更に上記帰還ラインと上
記サイフオン管とが負圧ラインを介して接続され
て、帰還ラインに燃料を流した際に生ずる負圧に
より負圧ライン及びサイフオン管内の気体を吸引
し、サイフオン管をしてサイフオン作用を生ぜし
め、各貯留室における燃料の液面を均等化する燃
料タンク用液面均等化装置において、 上記負圧ラインがその一端を上記帰還ラインに
接続され他端を上記他の貯留室の底面近傍に配置
され、この負圧ラインの途中に上記サイフオン管
の最上部が接続されており、上記他の貯留室に挿
入された上記サイフオン管の先端がこの貯留室に
設けられた開放型の液溜チヤンバーに没入し、こ
の液溜チヤンバーが液溜チヤンバー内の燃料の液
位を常に上記負圧ラインの他端吸い込み口よりも
所定高さ以上に維持するよう機能することを特徴
とする燃料タンク用液面均等化装置。 (2) 上記負圧ラインの途中と上記サイフオン管
の最上部が自己規制弁を介して接続されており、
自己規制弁が、内部を燃料が流れる弁箱と、この
弁箱内に収容されていてこの弁箱内をサイフオン
管から負圧ラインへと流れる燃料の流れによつて
弁箱の流路を閉塞すべく移動する弁体とから構成
されていることを特徴とする上記第1請求項記載
の燃料タンク用液面均等化装置。 (3) 上記負圧ラインと自己規制弁の弁箱におけ
る上部とが、上記ガス抜きラインをバイパスし上
記ガス抜きラインよりも充分に抵抗が大きいなが
ら常に流体の流通可能な補助ガス抜きラインを介
して接続されていることを特徴とする上記第2請
求項記載の燃料タンク用液面均等化装置。
