ート4,5をシリンダー側端面1aより内嵌固定
し、吸排気ポート間に位置する弁間肉壁部6に冷
却通路7を通過させて形成し、この冷却通路7を
通過する冷却流体で弁間肉壁部を冷却するように
構成した過給機付エンジンの弁間肉壁部冷却装置
において、 冷却通路7の入口7aを吸気ポート2内で過給
機16から圧送されてくる加圧吸気流Fに対向し
て臨む状態に開口し、その加圧吸気流Fの一部f
が冷却通路7内を通過するように構成したことを
特徴とする過給機付エンジンの弁間肉壁部冷却装

のうちの両バルブシート4,5間に位置するバル
