Abstract

PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the use of assembly jigs made of metal so as to make it easier to assemble a plug socket as a wiring apparatus, by forming a body and cover for the outer cover of the plug socket from insulating material, and providing the cover with locking pieces each of which has a locking hole, and the body with locking protrusions each of which is inserted and locked into the locking hole of each of the locking pieces for coupling the body and cover. CONSTITUTION:A plug socket as a wiring apparatus contains machine parts such as tooth rest springs 3 in its body 1, which is made of insulating material and is opened at its front face to form a recessed storage portion 5 on each side thereof by means of a center partitioning wall 3. The tooth rest springs 3 each comprise a pair of spring plates 3a for sandwiching each of edges, and a contact plate 3b making contact with the conductor of each of wires extending from the external, while each of resilient locking springs 6 is provided on the side of the contact plate 3b. Also, a partitioning wall 10 is provided at the center of a cover 2 made of insulating material and adapted for covering the opening of the body 1, and a pair of insertion holes 1 into which the edge are inserted is provided through the back face of the cover 2 so as to insulate the right and left tooth rest springs 3 from each other by means of the partitioning walls 4, 10.

[Prior Art 1] Fig. 5 shows a conventional example, and this example shows an outlet as a wiring device. The outlet has an outer shell composed of a body 41 and a cover 42, and a blade holder spring and the like are housed inside the body 41. A pair of insertion holes 43 into which plug blades are inserted are bored in the front surface of the cup 42. The opening surface of the body 41 is covered with a cover 42, and the body 41 and the catch 42 are connected by a substantially U-shaped metal assembly frame 44. Grooves 45 are formed on both sides of both ends of the body 41 and the cover 42, and a hanging piece 46 having a bifurcated tip of the assembly frame 44 is fitted into the groove 45.
The body 41 and the cover 42 are joined by the assembly frame 44 by bending the locking piece 47 at the tip of the groove 45 toward the step 48 on the opening side of the groove 45 and locking it th (crimping). Incidentally, the assembly frame 44 is formed with a protrusion 49 for attachment to an insulating frame buried in a wall surface or the like, and a recess 50 for attachment to a metal attachment frame.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention 1] In this conventional method, the body 41 and the cover 42 were fixed using a metal assembly frame 44, but the assembly workability was poor, and the interior of the frame would condense if used for many years in a humid area. However, there was a problem in that the insulation resistance between the charging metal part and the assembly frame 44 deteriorated.

Then, while covering the cover 2 on the opening side of the body, the locking piece 12 is slid onto the outer side of the body, and the tip of the locking piece 12 climbs over the slope 8a of the locking protrusion 8. The locking hole 13 is inserted and locked into the locking protrusion 8, and the body and cover 2 are firmly connected. Further, since the locking pieces 12 and the locking protrusions 8 are each provided at a distance of 4 m, the body 1 and the cover 2 can be more firmly connected.

By the way, the size of this outlet is the same as one standardized wiring device module. Therefore, the projections 14 and recesses 15 formed on both sides of the cover 2 allow the cover 2 to be easily attached and detached to an insulating frame, a mounting frame, etc. buried in a wall surface or the like. Further, although the entire cover 2 is molded from thermosetting resin, only the locking piece 12 may be molded from thermoplastic resin, and double molding of thermosetting resin and thermoplastic resin may be performed. good. That is, the portion of the locking piece 12 that requires elasticity is molded with thermoplastic resin,
Other parts of the cover 2 corresponding to live parts such as the blade receiving spring 3 are molded with thermosetting resin to make them strong against heat and prevent deterioration of insulation performance.

[Effects of the Invention 1] As described above, the present invention includes a body and a cover formed of an insulating material, a locking piece having a locking hole provided in the cover, and a locking hole of the locking piece being inserted and locked. Since the body is provided with a locking projection that connects the body and the cover, the locking piece provided on the cover is inserted into the locking hole of the body into the locking projection, and the body and cover are connected. By joining, the conventional metal assembly frame is no longer required, reducing component costs and improving assembly workability.Furthermore, since no metal parts of the assembly frame are used externally, Even if the internal insulation performance deteriorates, there is no risk of electrical leakage or the like.

Furthermore, the parts of the cover that correspond to the live parts of the mechanical parts delivered inside the body are molded with thermosetting resin, the locking pieces are molded with thermoplastic resin, and the cover is made of thermosetting resin and thermoplastic resin. By using double molding with the locking piece, the part of the locking piece that requires elasticity is molded with thermoplastic resin, and the other parts of the cover that correspond to live parts such as the blade holder spring are molded with thermosetting resin. This makes it resistant to heat and prevents deterioration of insulation performance.
