Abstract

PURPOSE:To find out various obstacles at once by making magnetic defective molding nil, by a method wherein when a detected magnetic force value detected on a magnetic circuit falls outside of a range of a set value necessary for magnetic field injection molding, an alarm is raised and injection is not performed and when the same falls within the range of the set value, the injection is performed. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is supplied to solenoid coils 3, 4, a magnetic circuit to be formed becomes a stationary platen 1 stationary side mold 5 mold cavity 7 movable side mold 6 movable 8 tie bar 2 stationary platen 1, and a magnetic field passes through a route as shown by a dotted line. Magnetic force generating practically is detected by magnetic sensors 9, 10, 11 provided on the magnetic circuit. After this detected value is compared with a set value by the comparator 13, the same is transmitted to a controller 14 and displayed on an indicator 16. When the detected value falls within a range of the set value, though injection of resin to a mold cavity 7 is started, when the same falls outside of the range, an alarm is raised and the injection is not performed.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the conventional magnetic field injection molding described above, it is difficult to confirm whether or not a desired magnetic force is generated in a magnetic circuit formed by a magnetic field generated by supplying current to an electromagnetic coil. Since this is not carried out, it is not possible to detect failures in magnetic field generation due to equipment failures or short circuits in electromagnetic coils, and if injection molding is carried out in such conditions, magnetic molding failures may occur.

(Effect 1 In magnetic field injection molding, the magnetic force of the magnetic field generated by energizing the electromagnetic coil is detected by a magnetic sensor installed on the magnetic circuit that serves as the path of the magnetic field, and the detected value is used to determine the predetermined value required for magnetic field injection molding.) It is automatically determined whether or not to inject the resin by comparing it with a set value indicating the permissible range of magnetic force, and injection molding is performed only when the actually generated magnetic field has a predetermined magnetic force.

In this embodiment, the electromagnetic coil 3 is attached to the fixed platen 1 to which the fixed die 5 is attached, and the electromagnetic coil 4 is attached to the tie bar 2 to the movable platen 8 attached to the movable die 6.
It is equipped to be located inside. Further, the movable platen 8 is fitted into the tie bar 2 and can be moved forward and backward relative to the fixed platen 1 by a mold clamping device (not shown). Note that the fixed platen 1, tie bar 2, fixed mold 5, movable mold 6, and movable platen 8 are each made of a magnetic material. In addition, the fixed platen l has
A magnetic sensor 11 is provided that detects the magnetic force when a magnetic field is generated by supplying current to the electromagnetic coil 3.4. Similarly, the movable platen 8 also has a magnetic sensor 9. IO is provided. These magnetic sensors 9.10. The magnetic force detected by 11 is transferred to the comparator 13, and the comparator 13
It is compared with a setting value that is preset in the setting device 12 and indicates a permissible range of a predetermined magnetic force required for magnetic field injection molding. The comparator 13 transfers the comparison result and the detected magnetic force value to the controller 14. The controller 14 transfers the detected magnetic force value to the display 16 and displays it, and also determines whether the detected magnetic force value is within the range of the set value based on the comparison result between the detected magnetic force value and the setting value set in the setting device 12. For example, an injection start command is output to an injection device (not shown) to perform an injection operation into the mold cavity 7, and if it is outside the range, an alarm generation instruction is output to the alarm device 15, and the injection device starts the injection operation. Control is performed so that the injection operation is not performed by outputting a prohibition command.

Now, when current is supplied to the electromagnetic coils 3 and 4, the electromagnetic coils 3 and 4 are attached to the fixed platen 1 and the movable platen 8 inside the tie bar 2 in this embodiment.
A magnetic field as shown in Figure (a) is generated. The magnetic circuit formed by this magnetic field is the fixed platen 1-fixed side mold 5.
- Mold cavity 7 - Movable side mold 6 - Movable platen 8 -
Tie bar 2=fixed platen l, and the magnetic field passes through a path as shown by the dotted line in FIG. Magnetic sensors 9, 10, and 11 installed on this magnetic circuit detect the actually generated magnetic force. This detected value is the comparator 13
After being compared with the set value, the comparison result is transferred to the controller 14 and displayed on the display 16. As a result of comparison by the comparator 13, if the detected value is within the range of the set value, injection of resin into the mold cavity 7 will start, but if it is outside the range, an alarm will be issued to notify that, and the resin will be injected. No ejection takes place. Furthermore, if the detected value reaches within the range of the set value and starts injection, and then goes out of the range, a warning is issued in the same way and injection is stopped.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2(b), if the electromagnetic coils 34 are attached to the fixed platen l and the movable platen 8 outside the tie bars 2, a magnetic circuit is formed that does not use the tie bars 2 as a path. Since the configuration of the 6f1 air circuit includes the fixed platen 1, the fixed mold 5, the movable mold 6, and the movable platen 8, the magnetic sensor 9° 1011 shown in FIG. The magnetic force of the magnetic field can be detected.

In addition, in this embodiment, magnetic sensors 9.10. Although II is attached to the fixed platen 1 and the movable platen 8, the magnetic force can be similarly detected even if it is attached to the stationary mold 5 or the movable mold 6, which are the paths of the magnetic field.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the present invention, resin is not injected when the magnetic field does not reach the desired magnetic force, so there is no magnetic molding defect, and furthermore, when the magnetic field does not reach the desired magnetic force. Since an alarm is issued when the magnetic force does not reach the desired magnetic force or when the magnetic force falls outside of the desired magnetic force range, various failures such as device failure or electromagnetic coil short-circuits can be detected instantaneously.
