    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 単一色だけが塗られている単色カラーリボンを
    収納した単色インクリボンカートリツジ及び複数
    色の色が順次繰返し塗られている複色カラーリボ
    ンを収納した複色インクリボンカートリツジを搭
    載するキヤリア部と、キヤリア部に搭載された各
    カートリツジに対応して設けられた一対の印字機
    構部と、単色印字指令及び複色印字指令を受信す
    る受信部と、受信部が受信した印字指令を解析判
    別する解析部と、解析部が解析判別した単色印字
    指令及び複色印字指令のいずれかの指令に基づい
    て対応する上記印字機構部を選択して駆動する印
    字選択部とを備えたことを特徴とする熱転写型シ
    リアルプリンタ。
