Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain a payment transaction without carrying out a balance inquiry transaction by displaying the payment enable balance on an amount input guide screen at a payment transaction. CONSTITUTION:The information on an input magnetic card is read and a display mechanism displays the input of an identification number. When the identification number is inputted to an operating mechanism, the center communication is performed for collation between the input identification number and that of the corresponding account and for inquiry of the payment enable balance. These check results are temporarily stored in a control part. Then the display mechanism displays the input guidance of amounts and the payment enable balance. Thus a user can know the payment enable balance through an amount input screen at a payment transaction and is not required to perform the balance inquiry and payment operations separately from each other.
