も下流側にサブ酸素センサを配設した排気ガス浄
化装置において、前記サブ酸素センサを自身が触
媒層を有する活性化酸素センサとし、排気系に設
けられた触媒コンバータの上流側に排気ガスの一
部を導入可能な分岐通路を設け、該分岐通路に前
記サブ酸素センサを配設したことを特徴とする排
