Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce battery wear due to its discharge by providing a battery backup stop means and an optical level switching means to a remote controller and a controller connecting thereto by an optical transmission line respectively. CONSTITUTION:With a switch 23 of an optical level switching means of a controller 20 turned on, an optical level by a light emitting diode 21 is reduced and the reduced light is fed to a remote controller 10 through an optical fiber 30 and it is detected by a battery backup stop signal detection circuit 14. A contact 12b of a switch 12 of a battery backup stop means is switched to a contact 12a by the detection output and the backup from the controller 20 to an internal processing circuit 11 by a battery circuit 18 is stopped and the wear of battery due to discharge caused by AC power input interruption of the remote controller is reduced.

In this configuration, the movable contact 12e of the switch 12 is set to the first fixed contact 12a side during normal operation, and the internal processing circuit 11 is supplied with power from ACloov. The movable contact 12e of the AC 100V cut-off switch 12 switches to the second fixed contact 12b, and a stain source is supplied to the battery circuit 13. On the other hand, when the control device 20 wants to stop supplying power from the battery to the remote device 10, the output level from the light emitting diode 21 during normal data communication is changed to A.
Then, light is emitted at an output level of B (A>B) when the switch 23 is turned on, and is transmitted to the remote device 10 through the optical fiber 30. In this remote device 10, the battery backup stop signal detection circuit 14 detects the light output level B and switches the movable contact 12c of the switch 12 from the second fixed contact 12b side to the first fixed contact 12m, and the power source is switched off from the battery. Stop supply.
