【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 環状磁力源と、前記環状磁力源の側部に配
置された磁極片と、磁極片と微小間隙を有して配
置される可動軸と、磁極片と可動軸との間に配置
された磁性流体とを有する磁性流体シール装置に
おいて、可動軸に段部を設け磁極片外側面と前記
段部の端面とを対向させるとともに磁極片の外側
面と前記段部の端面との間の間隙を狭くしたこと
を特徴とする磁性流体シール装置。 (2) 環状磁力源と、環状磁力源の側部に配置さ
れた磁極片と、磁極片と微小間隙を有して配置さ
れる可動軸と、磁極片と可動軸との間に配置され
た磁性流体とを有する磁性流体シール装置におい
て、可動軸に段部を設け、環状磁力源の外側面と
段部の端面とを対向させるとともに磁極片の外側
面と前記段部の端面との間の間隙を狭くしたこと
