Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate boss and enable installation with fine appearance by utilizing positively a mount for an instrument panel, mounting a defroster nozzle with a screw from the surface of the mount on the instrument panel. CONSTITUTION:A defroster nozzle 2 is in a single piece fitted with an L-shaped bracket 3, which is provided with a through hole 5 to serve insertion of a hole- down screw 4. A mount 6 provided on an instrument panel 1 is equipped with a through hole 8 for insertion of a fixing a screw 7 and a through hole 9 mating with the first named through hole 5. When the defroster nozzle 2 is fitted to the instrument panel 1, the through hole 5 is put in correspondence with the one 9, and the screw 4 is fitted in the through hole 5, and the bracket 3 is secured. Then the screw 7 is fitted in the through hole 8, and the instrument panel 1 is fixed to the body front in its specified position, and a cap 10 is fitted to the mount 6, and the heads of screws 4, 7 are covered.
