Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】 1 ヨーク又は軸の軸方向端面に、十字軸のトラ
ニオン部を軸支する軸受ケースを装着固定したユ
ニバーサルジヨイントにおいて、少なくとも1つ
の軸受ケースに、ヨーク又は軸への取付面側から
軸受ケース内面に貫通する潤滑剤供給送孔を穿設
し、ヨーク又は軸の適所に設けた潤滑剤供給部か
らの潤滑剤供給孔を軸受ケースの潤滑剤給送孔に
連通させ、潤滑剤給送孔を穿設した軸受ケースの
内部と、潤滑剤給送孔を持たない少なくとも1つ
の軸受ケースの内部とを、十字軸に穿設した連通
孔を介して連通させ、潤滑剤給送孔を穿設した軸
受ケースのスカート部と該ケースが軸支するトラ
ニオンの頚部との間を密封する密封部材を、軸受
の内圧の変化によるも潤滑剤を含む軸受の内部流
体の漏出を阻止するように構成し、潤滑剤給送孔
を持たない軸受ケースのスカート部と該ケースが
軸支するトラニオンの頚部との間を密封する密封
部材を、軸受の内圧がある値以上に高くなると前
記内部流体の漏出を許容するように構成したこと
を特徴とするユニバーサルジヨイントの潤滑剤供
給装置。 2 前記密封部材がオイルシールであつて、潤滑
剤給送孔を穿設した軸受ケース側のオイルシール
を、そのシールリツプ部を軸受の内方に向かつて
突出させ、潤滑剤給送孔を持たない軸受ケース側
のオイルシールを、そのシールリツプ部を軸受の
外方に向かつて突出させる配置でそれぞれ装着し
た特許請求の範囲1記載のユニバーサルジヨイン
トの潤滑剤供給装置。 3 十字軸に穿設する連通孔を、トラニオンの中
心軸線上に設け、トラニオンの端面に開口させた
特許請求の範囲1又は2記載のユニバーサルジヨ
イントの潤滑剤供給装置。 4 潤滑剤供給部を軸受ケース及び十字軸を介し
て連結される一対のヨーク又は軸のいずれか一方
のヨーク又は軸上に設け、該ヨーク又は軸に装着
する一対の軸受ケースの双方に潤滑剤給送孔を穿
設してその双方に潤滑剤供給孔を連通させ、該軸
受ケースを介して他方のヨーク又は軸に装着され
た軸受ケース内部に潤滑剤を供給すべくした特許
請求の範囲1から3までのいずれか1つに記載の
ユニバーサルジヨイントの潤滑剤供給装置。 5 十字軸のトラニオン軸線方向に貫設して十字
軸の中心部でクロスする連通孔を、該クロス部に
おいて2つの潤滑剤供給経路に仕切つた特許請求
の範囲4記載のユニバーサルジヨイントの潤滑剤
供給装置。
