Utility Model Publication No. 55-43680 has been proposed as a conventional jig of this type. This device has a pusher and a cutter fixed in parallel for pushing the wire into the pressure contact terminal. When installing the wire, the wire is pushed into the terminal using both the pusher and the cutter, and after the wire contacts the terminal base and the connection is completed, the cutter is advanced to cut the wire. In this mechanism, the wire is attached and cut by applying the force required to push the wire in and a larger wire cutting force after the wire is pushed in.

(4) Means for Solving the Problems The electric wire push-cutting jig according to the present invention to achieve the above object has a cutter integrally protruding from the front of a grippable elongated housing, and a spring at the rear end. An adjustment screw is provided, and inside the housing there are provided an impact member that is biased forward by the spring from the rear of the housing, an action member that abuts the impact member and is engaged in an inclined state, and an action member that is engaged with the impact member in an inclined state. A presser element that is in contact with and is urged forward of the housing and is arranged in parallel with the cutter is slidably provided, and when the presser presses in, the impact member is retreated via the action member, so that the amount of pushing is constant. When the amount is reached, the action member is straightened and disengaged from the impact member,
This structure is characterized by a structure in which the impact member bounces back and applies an impact to the cutter of the housing.

(5) Action Adjust the adjustment screw to set the cutting force according to the diameter of the wire to be cut. Next, the housing is grasped and the electric wire is pressed onto the clip terminal using the pusher. As the presser is pushed in, the impact member is retracted via the action members that abut each other in the middle.
When the pushing amount reaches a certain level, the electric wire is pushed into the clip terminal and connected, and at the same time, the inclination of the working member is corrected and becomes straight. Along with this, the action member engages in the through hole of the impact member, so that the action member and the impact member are disengaged.

When attaching the wire c to the pressure contact terminal, the wire c is fitted into the pressure contact terminal t, and the cable holding groove 9 provided at the tip of the presser 7 is applied to the wire c.
(FIG. 2) At this time, the pressure contact terminal t is positioned so as to face the terminal receiving groove 10. Next, when the housing 1 is pressed toward the terminal base b, the electric wire c is pushed in while the insulation is cut at the edge of the pressure contact terminal t and electrical continuity is maintained. At the same time, as a reaction to the pressing force on the electric wire, the presser 7 to the operating member 13 retreat against the biasing force of the coil spring 15. Working member 1
3 retreats, the impact member 17 resists the forward biasing force of the spring 16 and retreats. (FIG. 3) At this time, the action member 13 is in an inclined state and comes into contact with the edge of the through hole 18 of the impact member 17, thereby transmitting the backward motion. In this case, the protuberance 19 formed on the periphery of the through hole 18 prevents the working member 13 from falling into the through hole 18 inadvertently.

When the housing 1 is further pressed toward the terminal base b, the electric wire c comes into contact with the surface of the terminal base b, and the installation is completed. At this time, the peripheral slope 13 of the action member 13
c is in contact with the shoulder portion of the guide member 2 and the inclined wall surface 4, or is in a state of approaching. Also, Katsuta 6
The tip of is close enough to touch the electric wire c. Therefore,
When the presser 7 is pushed in a little further, the action member 13
is subjected to an inclination regulating force on the inclined wall surface 4 of the shoulder portion 3 and changes its posture so as to coincide with the axis of the guide member. As a result, the push shaft 13b of the action member 7 is aligned with the through hole 18 of the impact member 17, and the impact member 17 is aligned with the through hole 18 of the impact member 17.
Once the restraints are released, the spring force of Ne16 causes it to move forward at once. The impact member 17 collides with the shoulder portion 3 with its through hole 18 avoiding the push shaft 13b of the action member 13. At this time, the collision impact is caused by the guide member 2
and is transmitted to the cutter 6 via the cutter mounting cylinder 5. This impact force causes the cutter 6 to move forward and cut the wire c that is in contact with the terminal base b. (Fig. 4) When the above-described jig is removed after the wire has been installed and cut, the coil spring 15 causes the action member 13 and the pusher 7 to return to the normal forward position, and the action member 13 returns to the tilted state. Become. At the same time, the impact member 17 also returns to its normal forward position due to the biasing force of the spring 16. In this way, by simply pushing the wire into the pressure contact terminal while holding the wire in the presser 7, the wire can be cut simultaneously when the wire is installed by using the pressing force at the time of installation.

When pushing a wire into a press-contact terminal, the tilted position of the operating member is reliably maintained due to the synergistic action of the coil spring with the eccentric small diameter part, the spherical surface at the rear end of the pusher, and the bump on the edge of the through-hole of the impact member. This will prevent malfunctions.

An adjustment screw 22 is provided in an opening penetrating the housing 1 behind the spring 16 that presses and biases the impact member 17. By rotating this adjustment screw 22, the elastic force of the spring 16 can be adjusted to an appropriate strength. This makes it possible to create an appropriate cutting force depending on the wire diameter of the wire to be processed.
