The data becomes the address data of the 110M table 35, and if no conversion or interpolation is required, it is directly supplied to the synthesizer 24 via the terminal β. The data applied as the address of the 110M table for interpolation and conversion is
The data stored for each address is output as converted data, and in the case of interpolation, the ItOM table is read from the address set by 10 data and output as a standard value to the synthesizer 24. As an example of the contents of the ROM table, Table 1 shows an example of 10 data, and Table 2 shows an example of rD-Of conversion data. The output of the 0 synthesizer 24 is returned to the b terminal of the camera microcomputer 32. In this way, information is exchanged between the lens and camera, and compatibility is achieved as if using a dedicated interchangeable lens.

In particular, as image sensors (CCDs, etc.) in camera units become smaller in the future, lens systems will also gradually become smaller and lighter.
273" lens to 1/2" camera, and
If it becomes possible to use a 1/2" lens in a 173" camera, it will be possible to make the camera unit more compact and high-performance without hindering the spread of interchangeable lenses. The effect is very large.
