に携帯に適したポケツトライターにあつては、燃
料貯蔵スペースが小さく、比較的短期間に燃料が
消費され尽くしてしまうために、煩繁に燃料の補
給を要し使用上面倒であつた。又、燃料の補充ボ
ンベが手近にない場合には、燃料の補給が出来ず
ライターの使用が不能となつていた。更にガス状
燃料を使用するライターにあつては、炎が風で吹
き消され易く、風のある時や場所での煙草の点火
がきわめて困難であつたり或は不可能であつた。
