れる危険が多くあり、少しでも傾いて挿入される
と装着時途中で止まつて挿入、脱着が出来なくな
つたり、装着された筒体Aの内周側面に変形をき
たす。この変形は一様ではなく該筒体Aの内周側
面とバルブガイド2との間に隙間ができ易く筒体
Aの固定が不安定になるなどシール性が低下した
り微妙で面倒な装着作業を強いられ、また筒体A
の内径も正確なしぼり込み寸法を要求した。

弾性体Cとを一体とした構造のバルブステムシー
ルである。上記構造を有するワツシヤーBの外径
はバルブスプリングに接しない範囲、すなわち図
示していないが上下に伸縮するバルブスプリング
の内径寸法より小さい外径寸法に設定することが
肝要であり、またワツシヤーBを形成するに、金
属を用いて構成すれば製作が容易な上正確な寸法
を得られるので好ましいが、充分な剛性を有する
他の材料を用いてもよく、何れの材料を用いても
平ワツシヤー形状故製作にかかる時間及びコスト
を大きく低減できる。

分の面積が広く、さらに平面形状は容易く高い平
面精度を得られるなど垂直押圧を極めて加え易い
構造故、正確に装着され傾いての嵌着を完全に防
止しワツシヤーBを変形させることなく確実な嵌
着を実現した。この正確な嵌着により該ワツシヤ
ーBは装着安全性を大きく向上させ、またワツシ
ヤーBの厚み分だけの内径部に圧入固定部を有し
該厚み部分が嵌入されると嵌着は終了するなど嵌
着固定される距離が極めて短かく圧入装着時間、
手間を大巾に短縮せしめたものである。

扱え脱着作業を飛躍的に向上せしめたものであ
る。
