BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, the following two methods have been known for constructing stone-clad sidewalks in parks, for example. In other words, the first method is to lay out sand on top of gravel, line up flagstones, fill the joints of these slabs with mortar, and fix them in place. The method is to pour concrete on top of the gravel, lay dry mortar on top of it, spread mortar over it, and lay out the flagstones.

However, in the first method mentioned above, each stone slab is thin, so the stones are not fixed to each other sufficiently, and may move in a short period of time, causing tilting or unevenness. In addition, in the second method, the cost of foundation work is high. There were problems with the bulk and the long construction period.

A concrete block with the same area and required thickness as the slab is joined to the bottom surface of the slab with the required area, and a convex part with a smaller area than the slab is protruded on the bottom of the block. Further, a reinforcing bar having a length such that its tip protrudes from the side end surface is embedded in the convex portion.

By arranging the stone slab structures, gaps are formed between the convex parts of each other, and the mortar flowing in from the joints fills the block side walls of the required height and the gaps, and furthermore, the mortar gets entangled with the reinforcing bars. Each stone slab structure is firmly connected and fixed.

In the figure, 1 is a flagstone structure, which is composed of flagstones and concrete blocks. The thickness of the stone slab 2 is approximately 20 mm, and a concrete block 3 is integrally joined to the lower surface thereof. The concrete block 3 is formed by protruding a convex portion 3b having a smaller area than the stone slab 2 at the center of the lower surface of a main body part 3a having the same area as the stone slab 2. The thickness of the main body portion 3a and the convex portion 3b is approximately 40 mm. A plurality of bendable thin reinforcing bars 4 are embedded in the convex portion 3b, and each tip of the reinforcing bars 4 is made to protrude outward.

Next, stone-clad construction of the stone slab structure of the present invention formed in this way will be explained. As shown in Figure 4, gravel P is spread on the ground E in the same way as the sand-by-sand method, and sand S is further spread on top of it to form each stone structure 1.
are arranged close to each other so that a joint J is formed around the periphery. And from the joint J to the mortar M
is poured into the void formed by each convex portion 3b.

In this way, the mortar M filled in the voids around the protrusions 3b of each stone slab structure 1 intertwines with the reinforcing bars 4 protruding from the protrusions 3b, and is further spread by each side of the slabs 2 and blocks 3. The adhesive hardens over a wide area, and each stone slab structure 1 is firmly connected and fixed.
For this reason, each stone slab structure 1 can be firmly fixed so that it will not move due to the occasional sanding construction.

As described above, the stone slab structure 1 of the present invention is
The stones can be laid by a convenient sand-laying method, and the stone slab structure 1 can be firmly fixed without moving, which is economical, and the construction can be completed in a short period of time.
