[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an improvement of a mold in a die-casting machine or a resin molding machine, which consists of a main mold and a nested mold.

This type of mold needs to maintain a required temperature during casting or molding, and in particular, if the nesting mold is too cold, the cast or molded product will be defective.

Therefore, in the past, there was an example of interposing an asbestos insulating material between the main mold and the nesting mold to prevent the mold, especially the nesting mold, from getting too cold. However, the insulating material made of asbestos was easily crushed by mold clamping force, making it difficult to accurately match the molds (fixed mold and movable mold).

In view of these conventional inconveniences, the present invention is designed to cool the nested mold without using asbestos heat insulating material by forming concave or convex portions on the mating surfaces of the main mold or the nested mold. It is an object of the present invention to provide a mold that can reliably prevent overflow and also enable accurate mold matching of a fixed mold and a movable mold.

The nesting mold 3 is formed into a rectangular block shape large enough to fit tightly into the fitting recess 2 of the main mold 1, and a cavity portion 4 is formed on one surface thereof.

Therefore, the mold mating surface 1a of the main mold 1 or the nested mold 3,
A concave portion 5 or a convex portion 6 is formed in 3a to constitute an air heat insulating layer between the respective mold matching surfaces 1a and 3a.

The mold matching surfaces 1a and 3a refer to the five surfaces forming the fitting recess 2 in the case of the main mold 1, and the five surfaces excluding the cavity part 4 in the case of the nesting mold 3. By forming the concave portions 5 or the convex portions 6 in a scattered manner over substantially the entire area of the surface 1a or 3a,
An air heat insulating layer 7 is formed that surrounds five sides of the nested mold 3 except for the cavity portion 4.

The concave portion 5 refers to a hole or groove cut to an appropriate depth in the mold matching surfaces 1a, 3a, and the convex portion 6 refers to a hole or groove cut into the mold matching surfaces 1a, 3a.
It refers to a protrusion or protrusion provided at an appropriate height on 3a.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, hole-shaped recesses 5 are formed at appropriate intervals over substantially the entire area of the mold mating surface 3a of the nesting mold 3. A groove-shaped recess may be used, or a protrusion 6 may be formed in place of the recess 5.

In addition, the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is based on the main mold 1.
The protrusions 6 are formed in a dotted manner by combining a large number of protrusions in a lattice shape over substantially the entire area of the mold matching surface 1a, but the protrusions 6 may be formed in several stripes, or Protrusions may be used instead of the protrusions, and recesses 5 may be formed instead of the protrusions 6.

Since the present invention is configured as explained above, the contact area between the mold mating surfaces of the main mold and the mold mating surfaces of the nested mold is reduced, and the heat of the nested mold is transmitted through the main mold and dissipated. In addition to suppressing this as much as possible, the heat insulating effect produced by surrounding the nested mold with the air heat insulating layer prevents the nested mold from becoming too cold, thereby preventing defects in the cast or molded product.

Moreover, unlike the conventional case where asbestos insulation material is used, since the concave or convex portions are formed directly on the mold matching surface, it is possible to precisely match the fixed mold and the movable mold. , can cast excellent products.

よつて、所期の目的を達成し得る。 Therefore, the intended purpose can be achieved.
