Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a woven and knit fabric having a specific water-absorbing property, free from clinging to sweaty skin and having excellent comfortableness by sporadically applying a foamed resin to one surface of a woven and knit fabric at specific thickness and area while keeping the total area of the applied resin to be smaller than a half of the the area of the woven and knit fabric. CONSTITUTION:One surface of a woven and knit fabric composed of a hydrophilic fiber such as cotton or rayon is sporadically printed with a foamed resin (e.g., polyurethane resin foamed at an expansion ratio of 5-6) in the form of spots each having a thickness of <=1mm and an area of <=6mm<2> while keeping the total area of the spots to 5-50% of the area of one surface of said woven and knit fabric. The water absorption of the printed surface is <=30sec (in accordance to JIS L 1018; process A for the measurement of water-absorption rate). A woven and knit fabric produced by this process is free from clinging to sweaty skin and tacky feeling and having excellent wearing comfortableness.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> Clothes obtained using these conventional techniques tend to cling to the skin during sweating when worn, are resistant to repeated wear and washing, and have poor water-repellent and water-absorbing properties. As a result of the decrease in υ, the fabric may cling to the skin during sweating, resulting in poor wearing comfort.

The present invention provides a woven or knitted fabric suitable for clothing, which can effectively prevent clinging to the skin when the fabric is used in contact with the skin, particularly when sweating, and has excellent durability in preventing clinging. <Means for Solving the Problem> The present inventor has proposed that a method for preventing sweat from clinging to the skin during sweating is to create a space between the cloth and the skin, and to prevent the sweat from clinging to the skin when the cloth is wet. We have found that in order to minimize contact with the skin, it is preferable to have thick inclusions on the cloth so that contact with the skin occurs primarily between these inclusions. Ta. It has also been found that favorable results can be obtained by using a foamed resin, taking into consideration the durability of the material and the softness required for contact with the skin. Moreover, they discovered that in order for each sweat to migrate to the right side, certain conditions must be met, including the water absorbency of the cloth and the area, density, and thickness of the foamed resin.

First of all, in order for sweat to migrate to the right side, it is essential that the mineral and cloth have excellent water absorption properties, and after various studies, the inventor established the JIS L IQ18 water absorption rate water absorption rate engineering method. We have found that it is necessary for the value to be 30 seconds or less. If it is worse, sweat droplets may remain on the foamed resin-applied surface, impeding the dry feeling when worn and causing discomfort.

Preferably it is 3 seconds or less. In order to make a woven or knitted fabric absorbent in this way, it is recommended to use hydrophilic fibers such as 1M, linen, or rayon as the fibers constituting the woven or knitted fabric, or to add a water-absorbing agent, such as polyhydric alcohol, to the woven or knitted fabric. This can be achieved by using nonionic surfactants, polyether nonionic surfactants, amine-modified silicones, and the like. In particular, for hydrophobic fibers such as polyester, the following formula (1), which is commercially available under the names of 5R-1000 (manufactured by Takamatsu Yushi Co., Ltd.) and Permarose T (manufactured by I, CI Co., Ltd.), can be used as a sweat absorbent finishing agent. This is achieved by using what is shown.

1. If the thickness of the foamed resin is not less than IW, no matter how good the water absorbency of the fabric is, sweat droplets will not transfer quickly to the fabric, causing discomfort when worn. Further, in order to prevent clinging to the skin, a thickness of 0.3 square centimeters or more is preferable.

Next, regarding the area and density of the individual dots of the foamed resin applied in dots, we took into consideration the effects on stickiness, fabric flexibility, fabric texture, etc. It was recognized that it is necessary to apply the material so that the area ratio to the cloth is 5% or more and 50 inches or less. That is, in order to maintain the flexibility of the fabric, it is necessary that the foamed resin be applied in the form of dots, rather than in the form of long lines or large areas.

Preferably, the resin dots are regularly and evenly applied to the surface of the woven or knitted fabric. If the area of the individual resin dots is too large, the fabric will feel uncomfortable when it comes in contact with the skin and will also impair the flexibility of the fabric. Considering this point, the resin coating area of each point is 6-
It is preferable that it is below. In order to prevent clinging to clothes and from the viewpoint of ease of application, a value of 0.5 or more is preferable.

For the same reason, the area occupied by the resin is 5% or more of the cloth.
'% or less is preferable. If it is less than 5 inches, the chance of contact between the skin and the cloth increases, resulting in stickiness when worn. If it exceeds 50%, the flexibility of the fabric will deteriorate even if the individual print sizes are made as small as possible.
The suppleness of the fabric is affected and it feels strange when worn.

After increasing the magnification by ~10 times, preferably from 3 to 6 times, dots are printed on the surface of the woven or knitted fabric. In addition to the above polyurethane resin,
For example, there is a method in which a mixture of acrylic resin and a foaming agent is foamed by heat treatment after printing.

Although such foamed resin itself does not actively absorb water due to its chemical composition, when combined with a fabric with excellent water absorption properties such as the one of the present invention, the water absorption properties of the fabric are superior. Therefore, the fabric as a whole still has excellent water absorbency.

However, depending on the use of clothing, it may be preferable to make the foamed resin itself water absorbent to improve sweat absorption. For relatively low perspiration applications, such a treatment provides favorable wearing results. In order to impart water absorbency to the foamed resin, for example, 2 to 20 parts of a hydrophilic resin such as polyvinyl alcohol may be added to 100 parts of the resin.

On the contrary, it is also effective to make the foamed resin itself water repellent so that the wet feeling of the cloth when sweating is minimized. <Effects of the Invention> When wearing the clothing according to the present invention, when the clothing is not sweating, the points of the foamed resin come into contact with the skin, but the foamed resin is inherently soft, so no discomfort is felt when the clothing is worn. Rather, it creates a suitable amount of space between the skin and the fabric, allowing for good ventilation.
It's more comfortable than regular clothing.

Furthermore, when sweating, sweat is sucked into the fabric through the fluff coming out of the threads that make up the fabric, or transferred to the fabric via foamed resin, and furthermore, sweat is directly transferred between the fabric and sweat droplets as the body moves. Because it transfers to the fabric upon contact with the skin, it has a superior ability to absorb sweat from the skin compared to regular fabric.

This performance can be expressed in terms of substitute characteristics by dropping water droplets on the printed surface of cloth and evaluating the suction speed and wetness of the printed surface, but in actual tests, it is difficult to see how fast water droplets flow. It is absorbed by the water, so there is almost no wet feeling on the printed surface.

Additionally, the following effects appear in the clothing according to the present invention. In other words, distortion of clothing due to distortion of fabric due to washing can be suppressed. It also improves resistance to stockings, slips, etc. In addition, transparency has been found to have a protective effect on white or thin fabrics. A dye or pigment may be added to the foamed resin to further achieve this purpose.

Furthermore, by intentionally causing the foamed resin to seep into the surface of the fabric, it is also possible to improve the aesthetic image of the fabric surface. Alternatively, even if it does not bleed out, depending on the relationship with the thickness of the cloth, it can be expected that the print will effectively provide a desirable shade to the surface of the cloth. Further, from the viewpoint of aesthetics, a foamed resin may be applied to the other side of the woven or knitted fabric.
