棒の軸方向に加えられる油圧により前記シールリ
ングおよび前記締付けリングをそれぞれ前記環状
溝の一方の側壁に向けて偏倚させ、封止が保たれ
るようにした摺動機構のシール装置において、 前記締付けリングが偏倚される前記環状溝の第
１側壁部を、前記シールリングが偏倚される前記
環状溝の第２側壁部より加圧方向に対して後方に
設け、 前記第１側壁部と前記第２側壁部との間に形成
される段差の分だけ前記締付けリングによる前記
シールリングの締付け中心位置を加圧方向に対し
て後方にずらせるようにしたことを特徴とする摺
