In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a base material sheet serving as a substrate of the product, and for example, paper, aluminum foil, plastic sheet, etc. are used. An adhesive or adhesive 2 is applied to the base sheet 1 taken out from the unwinding reel by an adhesive or adhesive application roller 3 . The adhesive can be applied to the base sheet by various methods such as using an application roller, dipping in an adhesive bath, and spraying the adhesive. Next, the oxygen scavenger composition 4 carried to the upper part of the base sheet by the oxygen scavenger composition conveying roller 5 is adhered to the surface of the base material coated with adhesive or the like 2 with a gap in between. In the case of an oxygen scavenger composition based on a metal material such as iron powder, the oxygen scavenger composition conveying roller 5 is preferably one that has the function of adsorbing and transporting it with a magnet and desorbing it on the base material. However, it is usually sufficient as long as it has the function of transporting the oxygen scavenger composition and supplying it at intervals. In addition, in this figure, a roller is used, but various methods can be adopted, such as a method in which the material is transported by air and sprayed onto the base material, a method in which the material is transported by a conveyor belt, and a method is caused to fall onto the base material. Oxygen absorber composition 4
By pasting the surface layer film 6 on the surface of the base sheet to which is adhered, the oxygen scavenger composition is sealed and a coated oxygen scavenger sheet is obtained. As the surface film 6, a breathable material such as paper or a laminated paper of paper and perforated plastic film is usually used. In the figure, the thus obtained oxygen scavenger sheet is cut by a cutter 7 to obtain separated products 8. Of course, depending on the application, the uncut sheet may be rolled up or folded.
