BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, it has been known to place seedlings in soil, such as paper cylinder seedlings, in which a large number of seedlings are gathered, on a transplanter, and to separate the seedlings one by one and plant them in a main field. in this case,
When all the collected seedlings are planted, both germinated and non-germinated seedlings are planted, so a worker rides on the transplanter and selects and removes defective seedlings that do not germinate, but the sorting process is extremely troublesome. The transplant speed also has the disadvantage of being dominated by the selection speed. For this reason, Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-28650 proposes incorporating a seedling sorting device into a transplanter, but this device has a belt supporting the leaves and a belt supporting the roots below the seedling supply conveyor of the transplanter. A sorting belt consisting of a belt is run to remove seedlings lacking leaves, collect only good seedlings, and supply them to the seedling planting section.

The above-mentioned sorting device can be operated at high speed and has recently been attracting attention.
When the seedlings are separated into actual seedlings and dropped onto a sorting belt that supports the roots and leaves, depending on the circumstances at the time of the fall, the previous seedlings may roll in the opposite direction of feed, and sometimes the seedlings may fall on top of the previous seedlings. Seedlings may pile up and fall, and this phenomenon is particularly severe when working on slopes.
When such a phenomenon occurs, the seedlings are not placed correctly on the belt for sorting seedlings, resulting in the disadvantage that even good seedlings are removed as defective seedlings, resulting in a loss of seedlings to be planted.

As a result of research into a means for placing the seedlings on the sorting belt in the correct posture and spacing, the present inventor installed a seedling separation wheel opposite the end of the conveyor that conveys the seedlings in parallel, and installed a seedling separation wheel below the separation wheel. This problem was solved by installing a seedling sorting belt in the belt, suspending an elastic linear body between the pulleys of the seedling sorting belt, and making a part of it stand up so that it faces the conveying end of the conveyor. The present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings. The drawing shows the seedling conveying belt 1 and subsequent parts of the transplanter, and paper tube seedlings P are peeled off in rows and placed on the seedling conveying belt 1 in a close state. The paper tube seedlings P include defective seedlings P' that lack leaves due to poor seed germination rate or damage from pests and diseases. The seedling feeding belt is usually made of a flat belt and is stretched between pulleys 2 and 2'.
The shaft 3 of the pulley 2 is used as a driving shaft and rotates in the direction of the arrow. A seedling holding ring 4 is provided above the conveying end of the pulley 2. The ring 4 has a cylindrical shape and has a material such as a sponge adhered to its surface.A gear 6 is fixed to the shaft 5 of the ring 4. It meshes with the fixed gear 7 and rotates at a constant speed. In addition, a cylindrical seedling separating ring 8 is provided at a position opposite to the end of the seedling feeding belt 1 with an interval narrower than the width of the paper cylinder seedling P, and a substance such as a sponge is pasted to the surface of the ring. . A small diameter gear 10 is fixed to the shaft 9 of the seedling separation wheel 8, and a large diameter gear 1 is fixed to the shaft 2.
1 and rotates at high speed in the direction of the arrow. For this reason, the seedling feeding belt 1 and the seedling pressing ring 4
The paper tube seedlings P let out from between the seedlings come into contact with the seedling separating wheel 8 which rotates at high speed, and due to the speed difference, the seedlings P are rolled and separated one by one into individual seedlings.

Seedling receiving belts 12, 12 are attached to the lower side of the seedling separation ring 8.
is provided horizontally and stretched between the pullies 13, 13'.The seedling receiving belts 12, 12 are linear belts such as round belts, and the grooves 1 of the pullies 13, 13'
4 and 14' to rotate in the direction of the arrow. or,
Seedling alignment belts 15, 15' are provided downstream of the seedling receiving belts 12, 12, and the seedling alignment belt 15' is a round belt, which is stretched between pulleys 17, 17'.
The belts 12 and 15 are rotated by interlockingly rotating a chain 21 between a chain wheel 19 fixed to the shaft 18' of the pulley 13' and a chain wheel 20 fixed to the shaft 2; A chain wheel 22 is provided, and the chain wheels 24 and 24' are fixed to the respective shafts 23 and 23' of the pulleys 17 and 17', and a chain 25 is stretched between them and rotated.

The pulley 13 is connected to the pulley 1 by the belt 12.
3', a root support belt 26 is stretched between the pulley 13 and the pulley 17', and a groove wheel 27 fixed to the end of the shaft 18 and the shaft 17
A leaf support belt 29 is stretched between the large-diameter groove wheels 28 that are loosely fitted in the leaf part supporting belt 29. In addition, a leaf pressing belt 30 is arranged on the upper half of the leaf supporting belt 29, and the pulley 3
It will be installed between 1 and 32. This belt 30 is attached to the shaft 1
Gear 33 fixed to the end of 8' and the pulley 31
It engages with a gear 35 fixed to a shaft 34 and rotates in the direction of the arrow as if pressing down on the leaf portion. Further, the leaf support belt 29 and the root support belt 26 mentioned above support the paper tube seedlings P vertically, thereby forming a seedling sorting belt.

On the other hand, a seedling guide 36 is stretched between the grooves 14 and 14' of the pulleys 13 and 13', and the seedling guide is made of piano wire or other strong elastic material. It has a thickness that allows it to be inserted into the space created between the pulleys 13 and 13', and its both ends are curved in the direction of rotation of the pulleys 13 and 13', and are spanned so as to cover more than the semicircular length of the pulleys 13 and 13'. The center of the seedling guide 36 is raised and tilted so as to face below the seedling feeding belt 1.

With the above configuration, the seedlings P separated by the seedling separation ring 8
The roots of the seedling P' are supported by the root support belt 26, and the leaves are supported by the leaf support belt 29, and the seedling P' moves in the direction of the arrow. Don't lose or fall. Therefore, only the healthy seedlings P are passed to the seedling alignment belts 15, 15' for sorting, but the separation of the seedlings by the seedling separating wheel 8 is carried out at high speed, so that the separated paper tube seedlings are separated. P and P' may rotate in the opposite direction to the direction of rotation, or fall due to the rotational force. Therefore, the actual lower belts 12, 26, 29
Seedlings P that fall upward are unstable in their falling position due to uneven soil filling, uneven watering, and differences in weight and shape due to the presence or absence of leaves, and often collide with seedlings P that have fallen in front of them, which is extremely dangerous. In this case, the phenomenon of rolling in the opposite direction can be seen. When such a phenomenon occurs, the parallel spacing of the seedlings on the belts 12, 26, 29 will not be constant, and the seedlings will not be placed horizontally correctly, so even if the seedling P has leaves, the root support belt 26, the leaf support The seedlings will not be placed on the belt 29 and fall out of the system like the defective seedlings P. However, in the present invention, since a seedling guide 36 is provided, the seedlings are guided as they are after being separated, and are lined up in the order in which they fell.
Also, since it is made of an elastic wire, it can absorb the energy difference when falling.

As described above, the present invention curves both ends of the seedling guide 36 in the direction of rotation of the pulleys 13, 13', and grooves 14, 1.
4' can prevent soil clogging in the trench, but this is not a limitation. Further, since it is made of an elastic linear body, it has the advantage that it can be freely attached to and detached from the pulleys 13 and 13'.
