[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to the configuration of an operation panel section provided near the door of a cooking appliance.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, this type of cooking appliance has a door 3 that can be opened and closed at the opening of the heating chamber 2, and when the door 3 is closed, the inner plate 12 of the door 3 touches the door backing plate 11. are configured to abut. It is desirable that the inner plate 12 of the door 3 and the door backing plate 11 be brought into close contact with each other in order to prevent radio wave leakage and water vapor leakage.

However, the inner plate 12 of this door 3 and the door patch plate 1
It is difficult to obtain a flatness of 1, and a gap A is inevitably created between the two.

Therefore, even if a so-called chiyoke seal with a chiyoke groove formed inside the door 3 is provided as a measure to prevent current leakage, some radio waves leak from the gap A, and some of the leaked radio waves enter the operation panel frame 4 through the gaps B and C. do. This is not desirable because the light source lamp for the cooking indicator may flicker depending on the strength of the invading radio waves. Further, some of the other radio waves leaking from the gap A are reflected by the metal plate 13 and the side wall of the door 3 and are attenuated, but no specific measures are taken to prevent water vapor leakage. Therefore, some of the leaked water vapor is transferred to gap A,
It passes through B and C and enters the operation panel frame 4, and condenses on the transparent window 8 provided in this operation panel frame 4, making it impossible to confirm the characters written on the display board 9 and the pointer 10. Therefore, it was not easy to use.

As a countermeasure to this problem, it is possible to eliminate the gaps B and C, but like the gap A, these gaps B and C cannot be eliminated because the flatness of the door abutting plate 11 and the metal plate 13 is not good.

It is also conceivable to provide sponges or the like in these gaps B and C to absorb water vapor, but by providing sponges, the gaps B and C between the metal plate 13 and the door backing plate 11 become wider, resulting in radio wave leakage. Not only will the prevention effect be reduced, but the moisture contained in the sponge will damage the metal plate 13 and door patch 1.
This is not preferable as it may cause corrosion of 1.

This invention consists of a heating chamber provided inside the main body, a door provided at the opening of the heating chamber that can be opened and closed freely, and a door provided at the periphery of the opening of the heating chamber that comes into contact with the inner plate of the door when the door is closed. It is equipped with a door backing plate made of metal material integrally with the heating chamber, and an operation panel frame attached to the main body, which is located near the door and formed separately from the main body. The wall on the side of the operation panel frame facing the door is formed by extending the end of the door backing plate, or by spot-welding a metal plate to the door backing plate, and also by extending the end of the door backing plate. The disadvantages of the conventional cooking appliances described above are solved by covering the tip of the metal plate made of metal or the tip of the metal plate fixed to the door backing plate with the operation panel frame.

Reference numeral 11 denotes a door patch plate provided at the periphery of the opening of the heating chamber 2, and when the door 3 is closed, the door patch plate 11
and the inner plate 12 of the door 3 are configured so as to be in surface contact with each other. Reference numeral 13 denotes a metal plate provided facing the side surface of the door 3. One end of this metal plate 13 is closely fixed to the door backing plate 11 by spot welding or the like, and the other end is engaged with the operation panel frame 4. are doing. Instead of attaching this metal plate 13 to the door backing plate 11,
As shown in FIG. 5, the end D of the door abutment plate 11 may be extended to form an extension 14 by integrally configuring the door abutment plate 11 and the metal plate 13.

Even in the cooking appliance of this embodiment configured in this way, the gap A cannot be eliminated because the flatness of the inner plate 12 of the door 3 and the door abutment plate 11 is difficult to achieve. Therefore, even if a chiyoke groove or a chiyoke seal is provided in the door 3, some radio waves and water vapor will leak from the gap A, but since the door patch plate 11 and the metal plate 13 are in close contact with each other, the radio waves and water vapor leaked from the gap A will be reduced. Water vapor can be prevented from entering the operation panel frame 4.

Therefore, the transparent window 8 provided in the operation panel frame 4 is not fogged up by water vapor, and the display board 9 and pointer 10 can be seen clearly at all times, resulting in further improved usability. Furthermore, since radio waves can be prevented from entering the operation panel frame 4, the light source lamp 14 for the cooking indicator lamp 7 will not flicker when turned on.

Further, by fixing the door backing plate 11 and the metal plate 13, it is easy to clean and always maintain a clean state, and the cooking device can be provided at low cost.

As is clear from the above description, the cooking device of the present invention includes a heating chamber provided in the main body, a door provided at the opening of the heating chamber so as to be openable and closable, and a door provided at the periphery of the opening of the heating chamber. , consisting of a door abutment plate against which an inner plate of the door comes into contact when the door is closed, and an operation panel frame provided near the door, with a wall on the side of the operation panel frame facing the side surface of the door being By extending the edge of the door backing plate or by fixing a metal plate to the door backing plate, radio waves and water vapor leaking from the gap between the inner door plate and the door backing plate can enter the operation panel frame. This prevents the transparent window provided in the operation panel frame from clouding. Therefore, the display board for cooking information and the pointer provided within the operation panel frame can be seen at all times, which further improves usability.
