部面を一部覆うように構成することも選択的に可能であ
る。さらに、カセットケース１の側面部１ａに、前蓋２
の左右両端側板２ｄに設けられた一対の前蓋回動支軸２
ａが軸支されている。前蓋２は回動支軸２ａを中心に回
動する。さらに前蓋２は、一対の回動支軸２ａの一方に
設けられた前蓋付勢バネ（図示せず）により常に閉蓋方
向に付勢されている。さらに、閉蓋状態において、不用
意に前蓋２が開蓋し、磁気テープ６にテープダメージが
発生しないように、前蓋２を開蓋方向に回動することを
防止する前蓋ロック手段（図示せず）が備えられている
