Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit an easy opening and closing of packaging material and making sealing possible upon closing by attaching a plastic fine metal wire securely between synthetic resin tubular film and a narrow tape capable of being ripped lengthwise attached to the film along its mother line. CONSTITUTION:A fine metal wire 4 is attached to a high density polyethylene tubular film 2 by heat sealing thereto a narrow tape 3 made from the high density polyethylene stretched about two times as long as the first mentioned polyethylene and capable of being ripped lengthwise. The tubular film 2 has its bottom part 5 formed by heat sealing and an opening par 6 on the opposite side to form a tubular packaging material 1. To unpack it, the narrow tape is torn off to partially separate the fine metal wire from the tubular film. Two torn off parts 4Y of the narrow tape are left after the separation of the wire and the opening part of the tubular packaging material is drawn up together and closed by winding around it the fine metal wire 4X thus separated.

(Prior art) Conventionally, synthetic resin packaging materials that can be sealed and can be opened and closed as needed include tubular films with both ends open and three sides closed [usually one part is one part]. There is a cylindrical packaging material that is a bag, and the former is especially used when packaging a group of products of irregular shape or length, such as large fish, vegetables, trees, etc. In addition to being used for long scrolls such as carpets.

Now, in order to open and seal one part of these cylindrical packaging materials, it is necessary to bundle one part and tie it with a string, wrap it with a rubber band, tie the bundled opening itself, or repeat opening and closing. Although it is difficult, you can also heat seal it.

However, these conventional methods have good sealing performance, but are complicated by the need to be careful about storing the untied string to prevent it from being lost, and are difficult to remove the tightened rubber band. In addition to damaging the opening of the bag when untying the tied opening, there is also the difficulty of carrying a heat sealer everywhere for sealing. The emergence of cylindrical packaging materials such as films and regular bags has been desired.

That is, the gist of the present invention is that a plastic thin metal wire is interposed between a synthetic resin cylindrical film and at least one longitudinally tearable narrow tape disposed along its generatrix, and the thin metal wire The present invention relates to a cylindrical packaging material which is easily opened and closed and is fixed to the film by adhesion between the film and the narrow tape. The present invention will be explained in detail below.

The material of the synthetic resin cylindrical film used in the present invention is not particularly limited, and any synthetic resin film for packaging that is widely used can be used. That is, in addition to the most common polyethylene film, polypropylene film, polyester film, polyvinyl chloride film, etc., nylon film, vinylon film, polyvinylidene chloride film, etc. are suitable.

The term "cylindrical film" used in the present invention refers not only to a tubular film without a bottom, but also to a bag made by forming a bottom on a tubular film, and the tubular film may be one made by an inflation molding method. It also includes flat films glued together into a tubular shape.

These longitudinally tearable narrow tapes arranged along the generatrix of the film may be made of cellulose paper, synthetic paper, or synthetic resin film, but in the case of cellulose paper, the constituent fibers are oriented in a certain length direction. The same can be said for synthetic paper made from fibers. However, synthetic paper made from film or synthetic resin film must be stretched in the longitudinal direction. Due to the orientation of these fibers or the stretching process of the film, when trying to separate the thin metal wire from the cylindrical film as described below, the narrow tape is easily torn vertically and the thin metal wire of the desired length is separated from the cylindrical film. Separately, that part is used for fastening. Suitable materials for such a tape include cellulose paper, cellophane paper, polystyrene synthetic paper, and stretched polypropylene film.

As for the method of adhering these tapes to the cylindrical film, commonly known methods are sufficient, and in addition to methods using adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives, methods using thermal bonding are of course suitable.

A thin plastic metal wire is arranged between this tape and the cylindrical film, and when the thin metal wire is wrapped around an object, it remains wrapped, and can be easily rewound in the original direction if necessary. refers to a thin metal wire that can be plastically deformed without breaking, and specifically, a mild steel wire that is usually used for tying articles or manufacturing wire mesh is suitable. Since the above-mentioned wire rod is usually wound with a fingertip, it is difficult to use a wire rod with high rigidity. Also, it is not suitable to wrap a material with high elasticity because it cannot be fixed. For example, piano wire cannot be used. In short, unless it is plastically deformable, the effect of sealing by gathering the open L1 portion of the film together and fixing it with the wire wrapped around it will not be achieved, as will be described later.

At least one of these wires is arranged along the generatrix of the cylindrical film, but if there are too many wires, it is not preferable that the sealing performance is deteriorated. One bottle is sufficient unless the item to be packaged is large.

As mentioned above, a cylindrical film can be easily obtained by the inflation molding method or by forming a flat film into a cylindrical shape, but there is a method in which the thin metal wire is introduced between the narrow tape at the same time as it is bonded to the cylindrical film. In addition, thin metal wires are interposed between two narrow tapes in advance and both tapes are pasted together to form a thin metal wire-containing narrow tape, and the tape is made into a cylindrical film or a flat film before being made into a cylindrical shape. It is convenient to attach it to the

Next, how to use the cylindrical film with thin metal wires made in this way will be explained. Grasp the film part and the thin metal wire part of the opening of the cylindrical film separately,
When pulled in the opposite direction, the thin metal wire tears the narrow tape and separates from the tubular film like a tree branch. This branch-like portion is made long enough to wrap tightly around the opening of the cylindrical film. Depending on the length and size of the cylindrical packaging material, the usual length is 5 to 1 cm (about 1 cm or 15 to 20 cm).

There are no particular restrictions on how to wrap the branch-like thin metal wire, but it is best to grasp the part just before it splits into branches with one hand, gather the openings of the cylindrical film together, and wrap the branch-like part. . In addition, in order to prevent the narrow tape containing thin metal wires from being gradually torn, it is preferable to bend part of the root toward the original direction before wrapping the branch-like portion.

FIG. 1 shows a plan view of the first embodiment of the present invention, in which a high-density polyethylene tubular film 2 has a narrow metal wire 4 made of high-density polyethylene stretched approximately twice as long and having longitudinal tearability. It is attached by thermally adhering the tape 3. FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment in which a tape 7 made by sandwiching a thin metal wire between two longitudinally split narrow tapes and pasting them together is adhered to the end of a folded tubular tape section. The tape is the fourth
As shown enlarged in the figure, a thin metal wire 4a is sandwiched between narrow tapes 3a, 3a. Although the locations where the thin metal wires are separated are different in the case of FIG. 2 and the case of FIG. 3, the object of the present invention is achieved in the same way.
