Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure closeness of minimum limit necessary for maintenance without a door by providing in an opening part of a bank note storehouse a note guide, possible to open and close, normally urged to a closed condition acting as a cover piece and switched to an opened condition by operating a lever mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In case of charging a note storage housing 20 with notes or collecting them in the outside of a note in-out money device, a note guide 24 is switched to an opened condition against urging force of a spring 28, opening an opening part 21 by turning a knob 27 operating a lever mechanism 26. Next the note finishes its storage and collection work, when the knob 27 is unlocked, the paired note guides 24 are switched to a closed condition by the urging force of the spring 28, serving as a cover piece narrowing an area of the opening part 21 of the note storehouse 20 impeding in-out handling of the note. A bank clerk mounts the note storehouse 20, finishing maintenance work, to a device main unit. Thus by the simplified constitution without a door, the closeness of minimum limit necessary for maintenance can be ensured.

That is, the present invention provides a deposit transaction function in which banknotes inserted by a customer into a deposit slot are identified by a discriminator and a deposit transaction is performed, and banknotes stored in a banknote storage are discharged according to the denomination and amount specified by the customer. In the banknote deposit/withdrawal device, the banknote deposit/withdrawal device has a withdrawal transaction function for withdrawing money and a circulation function for circulating banknotes that can be reused for withdrawal out of the banknotes of completed deposit transactions for withdrawal as circulating banknotes. The opening for transferring banknotes to and from the device is completely open, and the banknote storage is provided with a lid that narrows the opening area of the opening in the closed state, and a lid that narrows the opening area of the opening in the open state. A banknote storage on the device side, which is equipped with a banknote guide that can be opened and closed as a banknote transfer guide, a biasing means that biases the banknote guide to a normally closed state, and a lever mechanism that switches the banknote guide to an open state. The present invention is characterized in that an interlocking means is provided for operating the lever mechanism by the closing operation of the door of the loading section.
