Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of the cyclic checking of an attendant by providing a sensor which detects a plurality of items to be controlled and transmitting equipment which transmits information to a control section through a telephone line to a pit. CONSTITUTION:In a pit housing a pipeline 2 and a valve fitted to the pipeline 2 sensors 4A, 4B,... which respectively detects items to be controlled are provided. Signals of the sensors 4A, 4b,... are transmitted to a control section 12 on a control room side through a telephone set 9 incorporating a MODEM and a telephone line 11 after the signals are collected at a control section 5 on the pit side. At the control section 12 on the control room side, occurrence of abnormality is monitored on the basis of these information and, when abnormality occurs, the abnormality is displayed on an alarm displaying board 15.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] When the number of pits to be inspected is greater than the number of inspectors, or when the pits are scattered in remote areas, the intervals between patrols tend to be wider. As a result, there may be a delay in detecting water leakage at the joints of the valve, or if the valve opening is deviated from the predetermined setting due to vibrations caused by wheel traffic on the ground or earthquakes. In addition, even if any of the pits is flooded due to heavy rain, etc.,
Unless all pits are inspected urgently, pits that require treatment cannot be discovered, which requires a lot of effort and time.
This will incur expenses. In some cases, there is also the risk that inspectors may sneak into the pit without knowing about the oxygen deficiency, leading to unexpected personal injury.

[Means for Solving the Problems] A pit having information according to the present invention is a pit that houses a pipe line and a valve interposed therein, and includes a sensor that detects a plurality of management items and a pin 1 of these pins. It consists of a control unit that electronically accepts and stores information from the control unit, a telephone with a built-in modem that receives signals from the control unit and transmits abnormalities, and a management unit that learns of abnormalities via the telephone line. The above problem was solved by connecting the two.

In this figure, valve opening sensor 4A, water leakage sensor 4B,
Five types of sensors are attached: water level sensor #j4C, humidity sensor 4D, and oxygen deficiency sensor 4[, but of course the number and type of these sensors are arbitrary, and can vary depending on the type of fluid passing through the pipe and the purpose of management. Of course they are different. However, the common element among these is that all measured values and indications as to whether control limits have been exceeded are unified into electrical displays and sent to the control section 5. Control can be processed using an electronic circuit such as a personal computer, and is a multiplexer that selects and calls in multiple inputs in order.4)6. A/D to convert this

It has built-in R4 instructions, setting switches, data displays, connectors, etc., and the connector connects to the vA telephone (slave station) 9 in the modem, connects to the NTT telephone line 11 via the lightning arrester 10, and then connects to the central control room ( It enters the control unit 12 on the side of the master station and is connected to the personal computer 14 via the telephone gl with a built-in modem (master station) 13. A warning in the event of an abnormality is immediately displayed on the alarm display board 15 through this information transmission path, thereby making the supervisor aware of the occurrence of the abnormality. It is also preferable to include a display 16 that automatically displays various information in the pit at regular intervals while the pit is being regularly managed.

On a practical level, the valve distance sensor 4A has a built-in potentiometer whose electrical resistance value changes depending on the opening degree, and this change is converted into a voltage change and sent to the control section. The water leak sensor 4B is configured to sense when an electrical short circuit occurs due to water leakage with an electrode mounted opposite to the gasket of the valve. The water level sensor 4c may also be of the usual type, in which an electrode is suspended at a desired height within the pit and an electrical short circuit is used to sense when water has entered the pit.

[Effects of the Invention] Since the present invention has the above-mentioned ↑14 functions,
All information on pits scattered around the country is transmitted to the management department via NTT telephone lines, and if a set control limit is exceeded, an alarm can be immediately displayed to call the attention of the monitor. In principle, regular patrols are no longer necessary, which is effective in reducing manpower, and there are great management benefits, such as being able to respond quickly to accidents.
