コネクタハウジングの嵌入口部内に係止環を挿入
係止して、当該係止環の一端と嵌入口部内周面に
形成した段部との間で、環状凹部を形成し、当該
環状凹部内に無端状のシール部材を介在させてな
る防水コネクタにおいて、上記係止環の側壁に
は、当該係止環が雌コネクタハウジングの嵌入口
部内に位置したとき、嵌入口部開口端に並んだ側
壁端から切り欠れたスリツトが形成されると共
に、当該スリツトによつて分断せられた側壁部分
間の切り欠き口部分には、スリツトの延長方向上
から外れて、雌コネクタハウジングの嵌入口部側
壁の肉厚分だけ外方へ突出したブリツジ部が一体
的にかけわたされており、且つ上記雌コネクタハ
ウジングの嵌入口部を形成する側壁には上記係止
環の側壁より突出したブリツジ部に対応した切り
欠き部が嵌入口部開口端より設けられ、一方、上
記雄コネクタハウジングの嵌入筒部には上記係止
環に設けられたスリツトに対応した軸方向に沿う
凸条が設けられてなることを特徴とする防水コネ
クタの誤結防止構造。
