筒状ピストンを前記した心棒及び加熱シリンダ間
の環状隙間内へ挿入する構成となすものである。

て、前記心棒及び冷却シリンダを支え、略円筒形
状を呈してパツキングの径方向の幅寸法に対応す
る厚みを備え、パツキングの環状溝の形状に対応
する環状突起を先端部に形成されたピストンを前
記した心棒及び加熱シリンダ間の環状隙間内へ挿
入される構成を備えていることにより、予め用意
された蛇の目形状素材を心棒のテーパー外周面及
び加熱シリンダのテーパー内周面上に載置して円
筒状ピストンを押し下げるだけで、心棒のテーパ
ー外周面及び加熱シリンダのテーパー内周面によ
つてパツキングの内側リツプ及び外側リツプが折
り曲げられ、続いて心棒の外周面及び加熱シリン
ダの内周面並びに円筒状ピストンの環状突起によ
つてパツキングのU字状断面形状が形成されるの
で、工程が単純であつて製作作業が能率的であ
り、更に、成形完了時にスプリングバツクが生起
