Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the effective capacity of respective compartments in the direction of depth and prevent adverse effects of temperature difference between the compartments by disposing a cooling unit for the upper comartment in a recess formed in the underside of the heat-insulated cover and another cooling unit for the lower compartment in a recess formed in the underside of the partition. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerated space is divided into two compartments of the upper chilled compartment 6 and the lower freezer compartment 7 by a partition 5. The chilled compartment 6 has a recess 10 in the underside of a heat-insulated cover 9 which closes off an opening formed in the rear of the top wall. In said recess 10, a dedicated cooling unit for chilling 11 which is attached to the underside of the heat insulated cover in advance and a cold air circulation fan 12 are disposed. A drain pan 13 is disposed under the cooling unit 11, and, under the drain pan 13, a unit cover is disposed to cover them all. The unit cover 14 has an air inlet 14 in its front part facing the circulation fan 12 and an air outlet in its rear to deliver along the rear wall the cold air which exchanged heat in the cooling unit 11. This constitution allows an increase of the effective capacity of the upper and lower compartments in the direction of depth, and two different temperature zones can be readily obtained.

Detailed description of the invention (a) Industrial application field The present invention divides the inside of a refrigerator into two upper and lower chambers with a partition wall, and each chamber is provided with a cooler and a cold air circulation fan, and these are covered. The present invention relates to a cooling storage which is provided with a unit cover having a suction port and a discharge port formed therein.

(b) Prior art As a conventional cooling storage of this type, for example,
Publication No. 23179 states that the inside of the refrigerator is divided into two rooms by a partition wall,
A refrigerator in which an evaporator and a blower are arranged at the rear of each room, a unit cover with an inlet and an outlet is arranged in front of these, and both the evaporators are attached to columns facing each other. has been fully disclosed.

Further, in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-2989, a mounting through hole is formed in the top wall of the heat insulating box, a recess is formed below the mounting frame that closes the through hole, and the mounting is mounted in the recess. A refrigeration device is disclosed in which a refrigeration unit is mounted on the lower surface of a pedestal, and a unit cover is disposed below the refrigeration unit.

(c) Problems to be Solved by the Invention The former conventional technology has the advantage of being able to share the upper and lower evaporators, blowers, and unit covers, but on the other hand, the space inside the refrigerator along the rear wall becomes a dead space. There was a problem in that the effective volume in the inner depth direction was extremely reduced in both the upper and lower chambers.

Furthermore, since the evaporator for each chamber is attached to a support that spans both chambers, there is a problem in that dew or frost forms on the higher temperature side of the chamber.

On the other hand, the latter prior art has the advantage that the effective volume inside the refrigerator can be increased because a part of the cooling unit is disposed in the recess. However, since this technology has one room, it is divided into upper and lower parts by partition walls like the former conventional technology.
If the lower chamber is divided into compartments and a cooling unit is placed in the lower chamber in the same way as in the upper chamber, the cooler will protrude downward into the chamber, so the unit cover that covers it must be separate from the one in the upper chamber. When manufacturing a new unit or using a common unit cover with the one in the upper room, there was a problem in that it was not possible to use a common cooler or blower.

In view of the various problems mentioned above, the present invention aims to increase the effective volume in the depth direction of the refrigerator, and to easily obtain two temperature zones in which the upper and lower chambers are not influenced by each other's temperature. In addition, coolers and blowers installed in the upper and lower rooms,
Furthermore, the present invention provides a cooling storage for the purpose of standardizing unit covers.
