Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible decorative sheet, while it has the matte surface excellent in scratch resistance and moreover excellent in linear property and further has dimension stability of pattern by a method in which the pattern is printed on a transparent polyester film and after the coating containing elastic globular resin beads has been applied thereon, a polyvinyl chloride film is stuck onto the surface of the polyester film. CONSTITUTION:A printed pattern 3 is applied onto one surface of a polyester film 2, and coating 1 is applied to the other surface thereof. The surface of the printed pattern 3 is stuck on the surface 5 of polyvinyl chloride through an adhesive 4. The printed pattern 3 is preferably formed on the surface opposite to that of the coating 1, but the film 2 is formed before the coating 1 is applied, and then the coating 1 may be also applied onto the surface of the printed pattern 3. In any case, the film 2 is stuck on the polyvinyl-chloride film 5 so that the coating 1 becomes front surface. As the polyester film 2, the polyethylene terephthalate film having been biaxially oriented and be heat- set. For the printed pattern 3, the well known gravure ink for polyester may be used. The coating 1 is the material in which the elastic globular resin beads with the grain size of 20-70mu are dispersed in a solvent with a binder.

<Conventional technology> Flexible matte decorative sheets include polyvinyl chloride films with fine embossing on the surface, and matte paints mixed with extender pigments such as silica on the surface of polyvinyl chloride films. Painted ones are common. However, when embossing is used, the embossing is restored by heat or pressure during post-processing such as lamination to the base material, and the gloss increases.

As a result, the polyvinyl chloride film serving as the coating base material expands and contracts, impairing the linearity of the pattern and the dimensional stability of the decorative sheet. In addition, in the present invention, the linearity of a pattern refers to the fact that a linear or lattice-like pattern does not shift from side to side, and loss of directness means that the pattern is distorted by moving from side to side due to heat and tension. .

<Function> Polyester film is a highly heat resistant film,
For this reason, even if the above paint is applied and dried at high temperatures, the film will not expand or contract, and the linearity and dimensional stability of the pattern will not be impaired. The subsequent lamination can be done by conventional methods, so high temperatures are not required. It is not necessary, and the linearity and dimensional stability of the pattern are not impaired. As a result, a flexible, matte decorative sheet with excellent scratch resistance, linearity and dimensional stability of the pattern is obtained.

In FIG. 1, 2 is a polyester film, on one side of which a printed pattern 3 is applied, and on the other side a paint 1. Three sides of the printed pattern are adhered to five sides of polyvinyl chloride via an adhesive 4. Although it is desirable to form the printed pattern 3 on the opposite side of the paint 1 as shown in the figure, it is also possible to form it on the film 2 before applying the paint 1 and then apply the paint 1 to the 3rd side of the pattern. . In either case, it is bonded to the polyvinyl chloride film 5 so that the paint 1 is on the surface.

The polyester film 2 is used to prevent the pattern 3 from expanding, contracting or distorting when the paint 1 dries, as well as to keep up with the elongation of the polyvinyl chloride film during processing of the decorative sheet and to have elongation that can withstand processing. A set polyethylene terephthalate film having a thickness of 12 to 50 microns can be used.

Paint 1 gives the surface of the decorative sheet a matte finish with excellent scratch resistance, and is made by dispersing elastic spherical resin beads with a particle size of 20 to 70 microns in a solvent together with a binder. The elastic spherical resin beads include beads made of polyurethane or rubber, and can also be colored. As the binder, in addition to two-component curing polyurethane, resins such as acrylic can be used. In order to uniformly disperse the beads, it is necessary to use a high boiling point solvent such as Kijirol as the solvent. Beads and binder should be used in a ratio of 5:5 to 5:5 to 5:5 to 5:5 to 5:5 to 5:5 to 5:5 to 5:5.
Mix at a weight ratio of 7:3.

The coating material 1 can be applied using a comma coater, a curtain flow coater, a reverse roll coater, or the like, but it is preferable to use a comma coater because beads of various sizes can be uniformly and firmly fixed on the film 2. For comma coaters and curtain roll coaters, the amount of coating is determined by the clearance between the slits, and for reverse roll coasters, the amount of coating is determined by the clearance between the coating roll and doctor roll. , it is necessary to provide a clearance of 30μ or more. Further, in order to fix the beads on the film 2, the thickness of the binder needs to be 5 μm or more.

The decorative sheet according to the present invention can be processed by, for example, pasting it on plywood or the like, scraping off the back side of the plywood in a V-shape, and folding it from this part (■cutting process), or by applying a structure having a curved surface or curling. It can be used by attaching it to the surface of a covering material, etc.

<Test example> A 3-color bias stripe pattern was printed using urethane ink using a gravure printing machine on one side of a 25μ thick two-wheel stretched polyethylene terephthalate film (heat set), and the other side was glossy. An eraser coating was formed. The matte coating film was applied with a comma coater using a ravi manufactured by Ohashi Chemical Industry ■, dried under conditions of 150"C for 520 seconds, and rolled up. It is dispersed in a two-component curable urethane binder and a Kijiroll solvent, with a bead:binder:solvent ratio of 27:21:52, and a coating amount of 40g/bo (dry).
