However, in the case of a floor panel that has a tunnel section covering the transmission in the center of the front seat of the vehicle, as shown in Fig. 6, due to the movement of the footwell when getting on and off the vehicle or when the seat slides, etc. The area near the tunnel portion 3 of the floor panel is repeatedly stepped on, and the carpet 1 covering the tunnel portion 3 is shifted downward, and the side portion 5 of the opening 4 for escaping the connection between the transmission and the shift lever is particularly thin. Because of its width, it may protrude outside the console box 7.

<Means for Solving the Problems> Accordingly, the present invention provides a floor carpet covering a floor panel having a transmission tunnel portion in the center of a front seat, the floor carpet having a transmission tunnel portion in the center of the front seat. An opening for escaping the connection between the transmission and the shift lever is provided in the floor carpet, and standing walls projecting into the vehicle interior from opposite sides of the opening are provided in the floor carpet, and the standing walls are connected to both side walls of the console box. It is characterized by being locked on the inner surface.

<<Example>> An example of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway schematic perspective view showing a floor carpet 1 installed on a floor panel 2 having a convex tunnel portion 3 covering a transmission in the center of a front seat of a vehicle. The floor carpet 1 that covers the tunnel section 3 is provided with an opening 4 for escaping the connection between the transmission and the shift lever, and on both sides 5 of the opening 4 there are holes as shown in FIG. A retainer 6 that is a substantially L-shaped vertical wall is attached. The retainer 6 has its horizontal wall 6a overlapped with the opening 4 of the floor carpet on the back side of the side part 5, and is joined by tacking, sewing or full-surface adhesive. As shown in FIG. 3, this retainer 6 is constructed by laying and fixing a floor carpet 1 to which such a retainer 6 is combined on the upper surface of the tunnel portion 3 of the floor panel 2, and then attaching a console box 7 on top of it. At this time, the vertical walls 6b of the retainer 6 are engaged with the inner surfaces 7a of both side walls of the console box 7.

As mentioned above, the carpet 1 covering the tunnel section 3 is pulled downward by the carpet 1 being stepped on as the foot moves when getting on or off the vehicle or when the seat slides. Since the vertical walls 6b of the retainer 6 connected to the retainer 6 are locked to the inner surfaces 7a of both side walls of the console box 7 mounted thereon, the carpet 1 withstands the downward tensile force and the opening 4 Protrusion is prevented.

The retainer 6 attached to the side 5 of the opening 4 of the carpet 1 is formed with a length that matches the horizontal wall 6a of the retainer 6 to the longitudinal direction of the side 5 of the opening 4. A plurality of retainers with shortened lengths may be attached to the opening 4. Furthermore, the shape of the retainer 6 is not limited to an L-shape;
It may have any shape as long as it can be engaged with the inner surfaces 7a of both side walls of the console box 7.

Another embodiment of this invention is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. In this embodiment, the floor carpet 1 is lined with a cushioning material 8, and standing walls 1a are integrally provided at both ends of the opening 4 for escaping the connection between the transmission and the shift lever of the floor carpet 1. It is being In this case, even if the vicinity of the tunnel portion 3 is stepped on, the deflection of the cushioning material 8 prevents the floor carpet from shifting from the console box 7, and furthermore, the vertical walls 1a provided at both ends of the opening 4 prevent the floor carpet from shifting from the console box 7. , the displacement of the floor carpet 1 can be reliably prevented by the same effect as when the retainer 6 is provided.

<<Effect of the invention>> As described above, the floor carpet according to this invention has standing walls at both ends of the opening for escaping the connection between the transmission and the shift lever.
Since these vertical walls are provided so that they can be locked to the inner surfaces of both side walls of the console box, they prevent the floor carpet that covers the tunnel section of the floor panel from shifting downward, improve the fit of the floor carpet, and improve the fit of the floor carpet. The beauty of the carpet can be maintained.
