Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a braille character on paper by making an electrostatic latent image visibly by utilizing a developer consisting of rubber material quality and resin material quality and transferring the visible image to the paper to fix the same and allowing the printed character on the paper to protrude. CONSTITUTION:The data sent to a laser beam emitting part 2 from a data signal generation part 1 passes through a lens 3 to be formed into an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body 4 by a potential change. Charge is preliminarily applied to the photosensitive body 4 by a main charger 5 and the quantity of the charge is always controlled to a constant level by a potential sensor 6. A developer 20 consisting of rubber material quality and resin material quality is received in a developing device 7 and the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body 4 is made visible and the visible image on the photosensitive body 4 is transferred to paper 19 by a tractor part 10 and a transfer charger 9. The paper 19 passes along a loop plate 13 and the resin component in the developer 20 is heated and melted through the absorption of flash light by a flash fixing device 14 to include the rubber material quality and the developer 20 is fixed to the paper 19 to form data 21 three-dimensionally.

Data information sent from the data signal generating section 1 to the laser emitting section 2 passes through the lens 3 and is formed on the photoreceptor 4 as an electrostatic latent image due to potential changes. A charge is uniformly applied to the photoreceptor 4 in advance by a main charger 5, and the amount thereof is always controlled to be constant by a potential sensor 6. The developing device 7 contains a developer 20 made of a rubber material (for example, silicone rubber, etc.) and a resin material (for example, styrene acrylic, etc.), which is an important part of the present invention. The electrolatent image is made into a visible image. The developer 20 to be used is supplied from the developer supply section 8 according to the amount used.

The paper 19 passes through the loop plate 13 and passes through the flash fixing device 14, where the resin component in the developer 20 absorbs flash light and is heated, melts, wraps around the rubber material, and is fixed onto the paper 19 in a non-contact manner. The data 21 is formed into a three-dimensional shape. In order to improve the absorption of flash light at this time, a dye such as black is usually added to the developer 20.
