[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Purpose of the Invention] The present invention relates to an ultra-small circuit protector intended for power switching and overcurrent protection of small electrical equipment. Conventionally, the following methods have been widely used for power switching and overcurrent protection of small electrical equipment.

(1) Power on/off switch and fuse,
(2) A power on/off switch and an overcurrent protector using a hot wire or bimetal; (3) A circuit protector that functions as a power switch and overcurrent protection.

In the case of (1) above, it is the cheapest method, but it is necessary to always have a fuse with the appropriate current capacity on hand in case the fuse blows out, and when the fuse blows out, maintenance is extremely poor as it requires replacement work to restore the fuse. Moreover, since the switch and fuse are installed separately, a large amount of space is required. Moreover, the installation work is also disadvantageous from the viewpoint of labor saving. In the case of (2), it is slightly more expensive than in (1), but there is no need to always have a replacement fuse, and recovery after overcurrent protection is only a button operation, so it is better in terms of maintenance. However, it is equivalent to (1) in terms of installation space and labor-saving installation work. Case (3) is the most expensive, but in other respects (1) and (2)
However, even though the current products have become smaller, they are still large compared to the recent era of light, thin, and short.
There are advantages and disadvantages to each.

The present invention was developed in view of the above points, that is, the shape is similar to a tube fuse holder, but it is extremely small.
To provide a circuit protector which has a simple structure and is inexpensive, in which manual opening/closing and overcurrent protection functions are integrated in a molded case and is a completely trip-free mechanism.

In the circuit protector of the present invention assembled with the above configuration, when the handle 2 is rotated clockwise about the handle shaft 13 against the handle return spring 4, the joint with the link 3 also rotates clockwise. Rotate. At this time, while the link pipe 5 inserted freely into the other end of the link 3 engages with the engaging portion 26 of the link socket 8, the bimetal 7 and the link socket 8 move toward the suspension groove 14, and the cutoff plate spring The movable contacts 10 fixed to the bimetal 7 come into contact with the fixed contacts 11, while the contacts 9 are compressed and curved to a greater degree while rotating clockwise about the suspension grooves 15 as a base point. The connecting portion between the handle 2 and the link 3 remains closed as shown in FIG. 2 beyond the dead center of the handle shaft 13 and the link pipe 5.

If a current within the normal load current flows here, the bimetal 7 will bend slightly in the direction of the high expansion side 28 using the suspension groove 14 and the movable contact 10 as fulcrums, but the engagement between the link pipe 5 and the link support 8 will is maintained and does not result in automatic shutdown. On the other hand, if an excessive current flows, the bimetal 7 will bend excessively, and even if the handle 2 is stopped by an external force, the link pipe 5 and the link support 8 will be disengaged and the movable contact 10 will be closed by the cutoff leaf spring 9. It rotates counterclockwise together with bimetal 7 and link support 8 and shuts off automatically.
This state in which the stopper 19 stops at a predetermined position is shown in FIG.

In addition, when manually turning off the on state, by rotating the handle 2 counterclockwise, the movable contact 10 is turned off by the cutoff leaf spring 9 while the engagement between the link pipe 5 and the link support 8 is maintained. It rotates counterclockwise together with the bimetal 7 and the link support 8, and separates from the fixed contact 11, resulting in the state shown in FIG.
