小さく、さらに上記凹み部と刻印されない周辺部
が同一仕上面となつていたため刻印文字・模様等

て刻印パンチ1に座屈が生じ、また、それ以下の
場合は押圧面3と側壁2とに刃先が構成されて先

て、上記刻印パンチ1の押圧面3には鏡面仕上げ
加工を施すことにより打刻面の美観を一層ひきた

が平行に形成され、従つて、上記刻印による凹み
部鏡面とその周辺平担面の非鏡面部とのコントラ
ストが鮮明となるばかりか、印字幅が広く食刻し
たように見せかけることができ、高級感のある秀
れた印字外観を得ることができる。本発明の一例
として、ステンレススチール材の時計ケースの裏
蓋に刻印を施す場合、刻印パンチ圧力が5tで、刻
印深さが7/100のmmのコントラスト良好な刻印を
施すことができた。以上のように、本発明は、刻
印パンチの形状および刻印方法によつて印字幅が
