Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、限定的ではないが、特に大腿骨ヘッドを臀部
プロテーゼの対応する部品上に取り付けるための装置に
関する。
この種の移植片は公知であって、−殻内には大腿骨の中
央髄管に挿入されるステムと、球状大腿骨ヘッドを受容
する態様のネックとを備えてｔ）る。
多くの場合にこの大腿骨ヘッドは、ステムのネックのそ
れと相補的な凹部を有する。ヘッド及びネックの凹部は
テーバ形であることが極めて多い。
外科手術の際には医師が大腿骨ヘッドをステムのネック
上に位置決めするが、これは多数の問題点を惹起する。
まず、ヘッドは球状であるので、取り扱いが困難である
。外科医は湿性手袋（ｍｏｉｓｔ　ｇｌｏｖｅｓ）をは
め、これが血液で覆われることが多く、取り扱いはより
困難となる。即ち、滑ったり、その結果ヘッドを落とし
て損傷させる危険性がある。
外科医がヘッドを落とさなくとも、この種の処置は、 ステンレススチールは極めて容易に引掻きされ得ること
からヘッドの表面仕上げを損傷する危険性があること、 ヘッドがプロテーゼのネック上に取り付けられた後に内
側に閉じ込められるであろう種々の夾雑物がヘッドの凹
部内に導入される危険性があること、及び その凹部がネックの前方にくるように大腿骨ヘッドを回
転させる必要があることから、既に髄管内に導入された
プロテーゼのネック上にヘッドを取り付けることが難し
い といった問題点を生じる。
更に、前記ヘッドが位置決めされる以前にこれらを完全
に殺菌するいかなる手段が先に取られていたとしても、
かかる処置手術はヘッドの無菌性を強度に危険に暴すこ
とが理解される。
本発明は、プロテーゼ部品、特に大腿骨ヘッドを取り付
けるための装置を提供することにより、単純で且つ効果
的に上記欠点を解消することを目的とする。
上記問題点のうちでヘッドについての全ての直接的な取
り扱いを控えるために、この装置は、その一部がプロテ
ーゼ部品を一時的に受容するような態様にされており且
つ他の部分が、前記プロテーゼ部品をその相補的部品上
に位置決めする際に前記１０テ一ゼ部品を押し出すよう
な手段を有するボディを備えている。
更に本発明は、前記ヘッドのためのパッケージとして作
用することにより、プロテーゼネック上に取り付けられ
る前にヘッドを装置内部に予め設置し、それによって無
菌要求を固守できることで前記問題点を解消しようとし
ている。
かかる問題は、ボディのプロテーゼ部品を一時的に受容
するような態様の部分が、前記プロテーゼ部品を保護す
るために、取り外し可能にプラグ部品と協働することで
解消される。
そうしてこの場合は、球状ヘッドまたは他のプロテーゼ
部品の補助的位置決め手段及びパッケージの両方として
作用する装置全体を１つまたは幾つかの予め殺菌された
シェル内に封入することができる。
前記問題点を解消するうちでプロテーゼ部品を一時的に
保持するためには、ボディのプロテーゼ部品を受容する
部分は、前記プロテーゼ部品を一時的に位置決めし且つ
保持し、一方で、プロテーゼ部品をそれに与えられた力
の作用下に押し出すことができる態様の内部チャンバで
構成される。
前記問題点を解消するうちで作業員の手と直接に接触せ
ずどもプロテーゼ部品を自動的に取り付けるためには、
押出し手段は、ボディ内で自由に滑動し且つその一端が
部品に当接することにより協働するように形成されてい
る押しボタンで構成される。
有利には、ボディの側部は、母線部とそれに続く支持カ
ラーとで形成される周囲凹部で構成される。
組み立てる際プロテーゼ部品が対応する相補的プロテー
ゼ部品の前方にくるように、プロテーゼ部品を装置内に
予め設置する問題は、プラグ部品が、プロテーゼ部品を
ボディのチャンバ内に挿入する際にプロテーゼ部品の一
部と協働する内部担持面を有することで解消される。
以下、添付の図面を参照し本発明をより詳細に説明する
。
Ｋ１１ 本発明の目的は、添付の図面の参照及び以下の非限定的
な説明からより明らかになるであろう。
種々の図面は、本発明の装置の大腿骨ヘッドＴをステム
のネックＣ上に取り付ける適用を示す。
全体がＡで示されたこの装置は、その一部が球状大腿骨
ヘッドＴを受容するようにされたボディ１を備えている
。−殻内には円筒形のこの装置のボディ１は、ヘッドＴ
を収容するための内部チャンバ１ａを有する。
このチャンバ１ａの開口は特に、ヘッドＴを一時的に保
持し、一方で直接にまたは組立てによって、ヘッドＴに
与えられた力の作用下にヘッドＴが押し出され得るよう
に形成された部分１ｂを有する。
例えば、チャンバ１ａの開口端部は、ボスまたは同様の
断面の把持部分を有することができる。
チャンバ１ａに対して軸方向に、ボディ１には押しボタ
ン２が自由に滑動するように取り付けられている。押し
ボタン２の端部はチャンバｌａ内に突出していて、球状
プロテーゼ部品Ｔに当接するようなヘッド２ａを有する
。押しボタン２の他方の端部は、ボディ１の側部と組み
合わせて操作され得るようにボディ１の外側に突出して
いる０例えば、ボディ１の側部は、該装置を一方の手で
握持し且つ押しボタン２を押すために、母線部とそれに
続く支持カラー１ｄとで形成された周囲凹部ＩＣを有す
る。
所望であれば、押しボタン２は弾性戻り手段によって押
すことができる。
本発明の別の重要な特徴では、装置のボディ１はチャン
バ１ａにおいて、前記チャンバｌａ内に収容されたヘッ
ドＴを保護するために、取り外し可能にプラグ部品３を
受容する。
この部品３は、ボディ１の対応する部分上にねじ込みさ
れるキャップで構成することができる。
これには、クリップ、プレス嵌め等の他の取り外し可能
な態様の取付は具も対象外ではない。
キャップ３の内腔は、球状ヘッドＴにもともと設けられ
ている凹部Ｔａと協働するための内部担持面３ａを有す
る。この構成によって、凹部ＴａがステムのネックＣの
前方に一直線に置かれ得るように、ヘッドＴを装置内部
に予め設置することができる。
有利なことに第２図に示した実施態様においては、キャ
ップ３が取り付けられた装置１の全体はヘッドＴのため
のパッケージであり且つヘッドＴの補助取付は具となる
。更に、装置全体は１つまたは幾つかの適当に殺菌され
たシェル内に封入され得る。これは、特に有利な用途を
有することを表す。
例えば、外科医の補助員は、殺菌シェル（図示なし）か
ら該装置を取り出した後にキャップ３を取り外しく第３
図）、ヘッドＴが取り付けられた装置Ａを外科医に渡す
、そうすると、外科医は装置を完全に且つ容易に受容す
ることができ、それをヘッドＴためのネックＣの前方に
置くだけでよい。
ヘッドＴの内部凹部ＴａはネックＣと一直線に向けられ
ており、押しボタン２のスラスト作用下にネックの相補
的部分の上にほとんど自動的に位置決めされたヘッドＴ
が押出されるように、力Ｆ１及びＦ２が押しボタン２及
びカラー１ｄに与えられる。
上記説明から本発明の長所は明らかであるが、特に、 ヘッドと直接接触せずに取付けることができるので無菌
性を変性することがないこと、１ａ・・・内部チャンバ
、１ｃ・・・周囲凹部、２・・・押しボタン、２ａ・・
・押しボタンヘッド、３・・・プラグ部品。
プロテーゼ上へ移植する際の殺菌包装シェルからの取り
出し時間が節約されること が強調される。
装置全体は任意の材料で製造することができ、使い捨て
部品にも再使用可能な部品にもすることができる。

Claims (7)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）その一部がプロテーゼ部品を一時的に受容する態
    様にされており且つ他の部分が、前記プロテーゼ部品を
    その相補的部品上に位置決めする際に該プロテーゼ部品
    を押し出すような手段を有するボディを備えているプロ
    テーゼ部品を取付けるための装置。
  2. （２）前記ボディのプロテーゼ部品を一時的に受容する
    態様の部分が、前記プロテーゼ部品を保護するために、
    取り外し可能にプラグ部品と協働する請求項１に記載の
    装置。
  3. （３）前記ボディのプロテーゼ部品を受容する部分が、
    該プロテーゼ部品を一時的に位置決めし且つ保持する様
    態の内部チャンバで構成されており、それによつて前記
    プロテーゼ部品が、それに与えられた力の作用下に押し
    出され得る請求項１に記載の装置。
  4. （４）押出し手段が、前記ボディ内を自由に滑動し且つ
    その一方の端部が、前記プロテーゼ部品に当接すること
    により協働するように形成されている押しボタンで構成
    されており、前記押しボタンが前記ボディの側部と組み
    合わされて操作される請求項１から３のいずれか一項に
    記載の装置。
  5. （５）前記ボディの側部が、母線部とそれに続く支持カ
    ラーで形成された周囲凹部で構成されている請求項４に
    記載の装置。
  6. （６）前記プラグ部品が、前記プロテーゼ部品を前記ボ
    ディのチャンバ内で中心合わせすることで該プロテーゼ
    部品と協働する内部部品を有する請求項２に記載の装置
    。
  7. （７）請求項１から６のいずれか一項に記載の装置と、
    プロテーゼのネック上に嵌め合いされる態様の大腿骨ヘ
    ッド取付けへのその適用。
