るなど利点もあるが、次のような問題も残してい
る。即ち工程中に先端部を窄める塑性加工が入つ
ているため、切削性には優れているが塑性変形に
は割れるなどして脆弱な快削性ステンレス等の材
料が使用できず、塑性加工に向いたSUS 304、
316といつた材料しか使用できないことである。
ところがこれらの材料は難削材であり、切削加工
やブローチ加工を行うと工具の摩耗や損傷が激し
く生産性も低下し安価で高品質なチツプの製造は
あまり期待できない。

の後再び前記の工程を続行して円柱体部によりボ
ール抱持孔を、段部によりボール台座を、更に先
端柱体部の外面角部によりインキ導通溝を夫々形
づくり、コアピンを抜出したのちボール抱持孔に
ボールを嵌入して金属細管の先端口縁をカシメ加
工することを特徴として構成され、以下その実施
例を図面に従い説明する。

アピン7をその三角柱体部6を先にして金属細管
内部にその先端口2から円柱体部4の所要位置
(ボール抱持孔3の軸方向の長さと同じ距離だけ
段部5から離れた位置)まで挿入し、その後再び
前述の押圧工程を続行しコアピン7の円柱体部4
によりボール抱持孔3を、段部5によりボール台
座8を、そして三角柱体部6の角部9によりイン
キ導通溝10を夫々形づくり、その後コアピン7
を抜出してボール抱持孔3にボール11を嵌入し
先端口縁部を内方に折曲するカシメ加工を行なう

不良やインキの安定供給の阻害等の虞れが無くな
つて筆記性能の良い高品質のボールペンチツプが
提供できることになる。

持孔を、段部によりボール台座を、更に先端柱体
部の外面角部によりインキ導通溝を夫々形づく
り、コアピンを抜出したのちボール抱持孔にボー
ルを嵌入して金属細管の先端口縁をカシメ加工す
ることを特徴とするボールペンチツプの製造方
法。
