最悪の場合はオイル洩れを発生させていた。この
不具合を解消するためにシリンダーヘツドカバー
にガスケツトを固定する構造が種々考案され実用
化されている。

ドカバーA1が不可欠であり製品コストに大きく
影響を及ぼし、該環状溝1を設ける加工工程も余
分に必要とした。

締付け変形量が不足すれば脱落し、大き過ぎれば
ガスケツトD側面極部を締め過ぎ、長時間の装着
使用にはガスケツトDの材質に極部疲労が生じシ
ール効果を著しく低下させ、極端な場合はオイル
洩れを発生させるなど微妙な調整を必要とした。

ト下環部E2を一体的に設けており、前記ガスケ
ツト挿入溝4側壁に押されて変形している上環部
E1は応力の加わらない下環部E2を従えて変形
しようとするからここで該上環部E1と下環部E
2とが連動して強い復元反発力を発生させ強力に
ガスケツト挿入溝4側壁に弾性圧着して該環状ガ
スケツトEを確実にカバー部材Cに固定する。
