Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep excellent adhesion of side traps for the surroundings of bay's feet by a method wherein a plural of expansion lines are formed to the side trap of a diaper by means of a resilient member formed by a plurality of rubber threads arranged in juxtaposition at intervals of a given distance. CONSTITUTION:A disposal diaper 10 is formed such that an absorbent 13, e.g. pulverized pulp, is arranged between a water permeable top sheet 11 and a back sheet 12, e.g. plastic film, and longitudinally expandable resilient members 15 are arranged in each side flap 14 formed by two sheets 11 and 12 joined together at side edges on both sides. The resilient member 15 is formed with three fine rubber threads 15A. When the diaper is put on a baby, by adhering pressure-senstive tapes 19 attached to both ends of the one waist part 17 to the both ends of the other waist part 18, the side flaps 14 are fit to the surroundings of feet. This constitution enables holding of excellent adhesion of the side flaps by using a reduce amount of a rubber material without inflicting a pain on a baby.

A diaper to which such rubber tape is attached applies strong local pressure to the infant's leg circumference in a linear manner when the diaper is worn.
Linear pressure marks are left on the infant's leg circumference, and furthermore, when worn for a relatively long period of time, it causes pain to the infant.

In other words, due to its molding process, it is difficult to form a rubber tape as thin as the thickness of the rubber tape conventionally used as this type of elastic member, and even if it were possible to form it, the overall thickness would be It is extremely difficult to obtain a rubber tape with uniform thickness over the entire area. Therefore, if a rubber tape as a conventional elastic member is formed with a wide width and attached to a diaper with the same elongation rate as the member, the tensile stress will be too strong and the pressure on the infant's chest will be too strong. . Therefore, in order to obtain an elastic member having a tensile stress that is generally considered suitable for compressing the leg area of an infant, it is necessary to reduce the elongation rate in accordance with the width of the member. This results in an increase in cost as the amount of material required for the elastic member increases by both the amount of material needed to make it wider and the amount of material required by reducing the elongation magnification. Become. The high cost is disadvantageous for disposable diapers that should be provided at low cost.

This drawback can be overcome by using several thin rubber threads as the elastic member, as will be understood from the description of the invention below. However, disposable diapers need to be mass-produced at low cost, and the rubber thread as an elastic member is used as a pack sheet made of a glass film or the like and/or a top sheet made of a nonwoven fabric, etc., which are the constituent members of the diaper. It is necessary to attach it with adhesive. However, unless the rubber thread used as the elastic member of the diaper is much thinner than the rubber tape commonly used in diapers, the above-mentioned drawbacks cannot be satisfactorily solved. As the rubber threads to be used are very thin and the number of them increases, it becomes difficult to process the rubber threads when adhering them to the sheet, and the work efficiency decreases. .

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an elastic member made of several rubber threads which are formed to be much thinner than rubber tapes conventionally generally used as elastic members of disposable diapers and arranged in parallel at appropriate intervals. Another object of the present invention is to create several elastic lines on the side flaps of the diaper, so that the side flaps of the diaper can be formed into very thin elastic members and arranged in parallel at appropriate intervals. By using several comb threads, the elongation rate of these rubber threads is increased compared to the rubber tape conventionally used as an elastic member of disposable diapers, and the length of use of these rubber threads is shortened. As a result, compared to the rubber tape.

Still another object of the present invention is that when attaching several rubber threads as elastic members to constituent members of a disposable diaper, these rubber threads are used as comb threads to form a tape-like shape by pseudo-bonding that has a potential separation ability. The rubber threads are efficiently attached by using rubber threads that maintain the same condition and continuously supplying them to the component while orderly dividing them into a desired number and bonding them with an adhesive. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for attaching an elastic member of a disposable diaper.

When several rubber threads 15A are used as the elastic member 15, even if the overall cross-sectional area, material, and elongation rate of these rubber threads 15A are the same as those of one piece of tape,
The former has lower tensile strength and higher elongation rate than the latter.
Furthermore, the tolerance for variation in elongation rate is wide. This can be seen in Figures 11 and 12, which show the experimental results of the inventors.
This can be understood from the diagram.

One piece of rubber tape had a thickness of 0.2 mm, and sample n was obtained by dividing the width of the sample into thirds to form three rubber tapes each having a width of 2.21 mm. For example, in order to obtain a tensile strength of 130I for the elastic member to obtain an appropriate compressive force against the infant's leg circumference, Sample I can only be stretched by about 120%, while Sample ■ It is possible to elongate it by about 170%.

As is clear from the experimental results of the present inventors, there are cases in which several comb threads 15A, which are equivalent to one rubber tape divided into several threads, are used as the elastic member 15; When using rubber tape, the former has a lower tensile strength than the latter, so the former can be used at a higher elongation rate than the latter to obtain the necessary compressive force against the infant's leg circumference. In other words, the length of the elastic member 15 can be shortened. Therefore, according to the diaper of the present invention that uses several rubber threads 15A as the elastic member 15, the amount of material used for the elastic member 15 can be reduced compared to the conventional diaper that uses one rubber tape as the elastic member 15. By reducing the number of diapers, it becomes possible to produce diapers at a lower cost.

If the elongation rate is less than 100%, the amount of rubber material used increases and becomes uneconomical. Incidentally, as a conventional elastic member of this type, for example, a single piece of 9-piece tape with a thickness of 0.201 m and a width of about 6.6 kat is used after being stretched at a stretching rate of about 70 inches to 100 inches. . Note that the elongation rate of 100% here means, for example, that an elastic member made of silk with a length of 100% is
When stretched to 15, several rubber threads 15A each having a small cross-sectional area are arranged in parallel at intervals and attached, so the appearance of the elastic member at the attachment part is The width of the diaper (see the part marked W in Figure 2) is wider, so there is less pressure on the infant's leg area, and even if the diaper is worn for a relatively long time, it will not cause pain or pressure on the infant. Marks are rarely attached. In order to produce such an effect, the top sheet 1, which is a component of the diaper, must be
1. Although there are some differences depending on the rigidity of the back sheet 12 and the absorbent body 13, several rubber threads 1 as the elastic member 15.
5A is a width of 10cm to 3cm outward from the outer edge of the absorbent body 13.
5■, more preferably a range rubber 15 with a width of 15m to 20m
The elastic member 15 consisting of A appears to act in an integrated manner when the diaper is worn, but since these rubber threads 15A are separated, the elastic member 15A acts independently. Therefore, it is possible to maintain good adhesion of the rubber threads 15A to the infant's chest circumference. Furthermore, since the elastic member 15 is separated, the air permeability of the attachment portion of the elastic member is not hindered.

According to what the inventors have been able to confirm through experiments, the elastic member 15 is available from Kusugomu Ito Co., Ltd. under the trade name "Kuchonde Kusu 3SR Type" as described above. , the cross-sectional area of one made from natural dem is approximately 0.
185 m2 of rubber thread 15A is one of the preferable ones, but when this is used, the amount of the hot melt adhesive applied is 0.1 to 0.211/per one rubber thread 15A.
It is preferable that m is ZL<, and the coating temperature is preferably 165°C or less. In this case, if the coating amount is 0.197 m or less, the elastic member 15 can be reliably adhered to the side flap 14 of the diaper 10, and if it is 0.217 m or more, the adhesive will be applied to the diaper 100 tons! When it oozes from the sheet 12 and solidifies, it causes discomfort to the wearer and further increases costs. If the coating temperature is 165° C. or higher, the rubber thread 15A may deteriorate or break. Furthermore, in this case, the hot melt adhesive may have a temperature of 12
Viscosity is 120,000c at 0℃ and 150℃ respectively.
ps, 22,000'cps and available in our country under the trade name [Kanejitsu NSCMQ-975J] is found to be one of the preferable ones. The number of comb threads 15A to be arranged in parallel with the comb threads 14 is determined according to the number of comb threads 15A. Also, the interval between each slot and Toro 5 is 10 diapers.
