In general, the filter unit of an air purifier is equipped with a dust removal filter at the upwind suction port and a deodorizing filter made of activated carbon or the like on the leeward side, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 55-129133. When dirty indoor air is sucked into the air purifier, a dust removal filter first removes dust, cigarette smoke particles, and other dust particles, and then malodorous gas components are removed using a deodorizing filter. .

However, the above method has no problem when removing solid dust such as cotton dust or sand dust, but since cigarette smoke is in the form of a mist, the tar contained in cigarette smoke is removed by a dust removal device installed on the windward side. When the air cleaner is left indoors without operating the air purifier, there is a problem in that the foul odor emitted from the tar attached to the filter is emitted into the room from the suction port.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, the inventor provided a deodorizing filter 30 and a dust removing filter 28 near the suction port 2 on the windward side of the air passage.
An air purifier was considered in which a deodorizing filter 29 was disposed inside the outlet 4 on the leeward side of the blower 9.
Although this air purifier can remove bad odors,
Due to the odor that is not removed by the deodorizing filter 30 on the windward side, the odor component adheres to the wall inside the air passage 6 of the casing 1, the fan 8 of the blower 9, etc. due to aging, and the adhering malodor component naturally causes a bad odor. is released and tends to adhere to the dust removal filters, reducing the deodorizing ability and effectiveness of the deodorizing filters 30 and 29. As a result, as the deodorizing filters 30 and 29 age, bad odors are emitted into the room. A problem existed.

(Embodiment) The first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to drawings 1 to 4.
This will be explained based on the diagram. 1 is a casing made of synthetic resin, and has a grill plate 3 with a suction port 2 formed on the front side.
In addition, a discharge port grid 5 with discharge ports 4 formed therein is provided on the upper surface, an air passage 6 is formed between the suction port 2 and the discharge port 4, and a motor 7 and a fan 8 are provided in the air passage 6. A blower device 9 consisting of the following is provided. Further, an air intake port 10 is provided on the front surface of the fan 8.
A filter storage chamber 12 is provided between the grill plate 3 and the intake port grid 11.
A filter unit 13 is housed in the filter housing chamber 12. The grill plate 3 is

It is removably attached to the front of the casing 1, and the filter unit 13 can be removed by removing the grill plate 3.
can be cleaned or replaced.
The filter unit 13 is composed of three filters, and the first filter 17 in the center is a filter for removing dust, and is made of very fine (about 1 to 5 μm) fibers such as polypropylene fibers and glass fibers. It is formed by bending the sheet into a zigzag shape. A second filter 18 welded to the leeward side of the first filter 17 is a deodorizing filter made of a porous material such as ceramic or granular activated carbon impregnated with a deodorizing liquid. etc. are placed in a box. Further, a third filter 1 is disposed close to the windward side of the first filter 17 and close to the grill plate 3 forming the suction port 2.
9 is a deodorizing filter, made of water-absorbing material such as polyester fiber or nylon fiber and relatively coarse mesh (20
It is formed by impregnating a nonwoven fabric sheet with a deodorizing liquid (approximately 30 μm) to reduce airflow resistance and prevent clogging. The first and second filters 17 and 18 are housed in a filter frame 20, and the second filter
The protrusion 21 of the filter 18 is fitted into the notch 22 of the filter frame 20, and is fixed with a presser piece 23 slidably locked with a screw. Further, on the upper surface of the casing 1, there are provided an aromatic agent case 24, a push button 25 for a switch (not shown) for turning on/off the power supply to the blower device 9, a timer 26, an energizing lamp 27, and the like. Further, in order to improve the deodorizing effect, a deodorizing agent is also applied to the wall surface of the air passage 6 and the blade of the fan 8 using an adhesive.

(Operation) The operation of the present invention will be explained below. push button 25
When is pressed, the switch is turned on, and the motor 7 rotates to turn the fan 8. When the fan 8 rotates, dirty air is sucked in from the suction port 2, and relatively large dust such as cotton dust is removed by the third filter 19.
Fine dust is removed by the first filter 17, and odor in the air is removed by adsorption or chemical reaction by the second filter 18, and clean air is discharged into the room from the discharge port 4. At this time, fragrance is simultaneously discharged from the fragrance case 24, creating a comfortable atmosphere in the room. In addition, if the operation continues, the fine-mesh first filter 17 becomes dirty and a mist-like odor component such as cigarette tar adheres to it, and when the operation is stopped, this odor component naturally flows into the room. It emits,
A third filter 19 disposed close to the windward side and close to the grill plate 3 forming the suction port 2 absorbs and removes this bad odor so that the bad odor is not released into the room. Since the third filter 19 has a coarse mesh, there is little ventilation resistance during operation, so the ventilation efficiency is less likely to be hindered, and it is difficult for mist-like malodorous components to adhere, and when the operation is stopped. The malodorous components inside are naturally and slowly released into the room, so even if the mesh is coarse, the malodorous components can be reliably absorbed.

Similarly, since the second filter 18 is disposed close to the leeward side of the first filter 17, even if malodorous components adhere to the first filter 17, the second filter 18 This device absorbs and removes this bad odor and does not release the bad odor into the room from the discharge port 4, and since the second filter 18 is disposed on the windward side of the blower 9, the bad odor is removed. Because the purified air passes through the blower 9, no bad odor will adhere to the blower 9, and bad odors due to aging will not accumulate in the blower duct or the blower. This prevents foul-smelling components from adhering to fan 8, etc., and
A deodorizing filter 30 like the air purifier shown in the figure,
This does not result in a reduction in the deodorizing ability or effect of the filter, and the effectiveness of the filter due to bad odor is not impaired, and as a result, no bad odor is emitted into the room as it ages.

As described above, the present invention includes a casing in which an air passage is formed, an air blower disposed in the air passage, a first dust removal filter disposed on the windward side of the air passage, and a casing in which an air passage is formed. and a second deodorizing filter disposed on the upper side on the leeward side of the first filter, the air purifier comprising: a second filter for deodorizing disposed on the leeward side of the first filter, the air purifier comprising a second filter disposed on the windward side of the first filter and a second filter disposed on the windward side of the first filter; A third deodorizing filter having lower ventilation resistance than the first filter is disposed close to the mouth, and the second filter is disposed close to the leeward side of the first filter and the air blower is disposed close to the mouth. Because it is located upwind from the equipment, large dust such as cotton dust is removed by the third filter with low ventilation resistance, preventing clogging of the fine-mesh first filter. Even if the first filter is dirty and has a mist of malodorous components attached to it and is stopped and placed indoors, the second and third filters installed on both sides of the first filter will not contain the malodorous components. It has the effect of maintaining a comfortable atmosphere indoors without being absorbed and released into the room.

Further, the third and second filters are disposed close to each other on both sides of the first filter, and the third filter is disposed close to the suction port of the air passage. In addition, bad odors are reliably removed at the suction port on the windward side of the air duct, and components that cause bad odors do not adhere to the walls of the air duct or the blower equipment installed in the air duct, which prevents deterioration over time. This prevents bad odors from accumulating in the air ducts and air blowing equipment, and therefore there is no influence from the air ducts or air blowing equipment, and the ability and effectiveness of the filter will not be impaired due to bad odors that change over time.As a result, bad odors will not be emitted indoors. It is something that cannot be done.
