Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the noise caused by a feed air fan of water heater by absorbing the high frequency noise generated by the feed air fan by a noise absorbing duct disposed in the downstream side of the air outlet of the feed air fan. CONSTITUTION:The noise generated by a feed air fan 1 is divided into that which is released out of the casing 2 of a water heater through the air inlet 11 of the feed air fan 1 and that which is released out of the casing 2 of the water heater from the air outlet 3 of the feed air fan 1 through an exhaust port 10 via the burning chamber 8. The high frequency noise generated by the feed air fan 1 is absorbed by a noise absorbing duct 4 disposed in the downstream side of the air outlet 3 of the feed air fan 1. As a result, the noise released outside the casing 2 of water heater can be reduced to improve the noise abatement of the water heater.

し、給湯器の低騒音化を向上させることができる。
