Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an article having depressed part with stabilized quality in low cost by stopping rotation of neck ring in final stage of blow molding process, protruding pin into finishing mold and forming depressed part at a part of outside face of the article in a turn mold blowing process of hollow glass article. CONSTITUTION:Parison 4 molded in parison molding process is hanged down with neck ring 5 and transferred into a mold constructed with finishing mold 6 and bottom mold 7. Next, the parison is subjected to blow molding with rotating by the neck ring 5 to produce hollow glass article. Then, rotation of the neck ring 5 is stopped in final stage of the blow molding process, plunger 11 is protruded into the finishing mold 6 by driving cylinder 9 and one or more depressed parts are formed at a part of outside face of the glass article. Next, the plunger 11 is driven backward and the glass article is taken out to afford a hollow glass article having depressed part.

Therefore, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 59-10090, a pressing mold for forming a concave portion on the outer surface of a preformed glass product has been developed, but in this case, secondary processing is required. Because it is a molding method, there are problems such as not being able to handle mass production and requiring labor for secondary processing.
As a result, there was also the disadvantage that production costs increased.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems and provides a round-blown product with one or two pieces on a part of the outer surface.
It was completed with the aim of providing a method for molding hollow glass products that can be continuously produced using an automatic molding machine, without requiring secondary processing of glass products that have more than one concave part. be.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides a rotary blow molding method for hollow glass products in which a parison suspended by a neck ring is rotated and blow molded in a finishing mold, in which the parison is suspended at the final stage of the blow molding process. By stopping the rotation of the neck ring and advancing and retracting one or more pins provided in the finishing mold, one or two pins are attached to a part of the outer surface of the glass product. It is characterized by forming more than one concave portion.

The parison 4 molded in the parison molding process (2) is suspended by a neck ring 5 and transferred to the blow molding process (2), which consists of a finishing mold 6 and a bottom mold 7 (see FIG. 1(A)). After that, as shown in FIG. 1(B),
A blow head 8 is placed on the upper part of the neck ring 5, and the parison 4 is rotary blow-molded in the finishing die 6 while blowing air. Up to this stage, the process is similar to the conventional rotary blow molding process, resulting in a hollow glass product with a beautiful outer surface without any traces of the finished mold joints. Furthermore, in the final stage of the blow molding process, as shown in FIG. Four concave portions 2 are formed.

That is, as shown in FIG. 2, first, the rotation of the neck ring 5 is stopped (step 2), and after a slight delay, the cylinder 9 is activated (step Φ). To operate the cylinder 9, timing air enters from the cylinder head 10 through piping (indicated by a broken line) in the finishing die 6, presses the cylinder plunger 11, and the plunger 11 advances into the finishing die 6 to produce the glass product. Four concave portions are formed in a portion of the outer surface of the tube. After that, the timing air ran out and the plunger 11
is retreated to its original position by the coil spring 12, and the glass product is taken out from the take-out position To and proceeds to the next process.
