Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a heat loss by a method wherein as means for keeping a temperature of hot water, a vacuum container is applied and a heat source is not used and a hot water temperature is kept. CONSTITUTION:A hot water temperature keeping unit 2 is provided with a tank 15 composed of a vacuum container for use in accumulating hot water 5. As a plug 3 is rotated, a hot water feeder 1 is operated, water from a water feeding pipe 11 is fed and the water is changed into hot water and the hot water is mixed with water from a water feeding pipe 12 by a mixing value 10 through each of a hot water pipe 8, a tank 15 and a hot water feeding pipe 11, respectively and then the hot water is fed out of the plug 3. The hot water which is accumulated in the hot water feeding pipe 8 until the plug 3 is opened is arranged outside a housing, so that the hot water is cooled by the surrounding atmosphere and the hot water is changed into a cold water. The hot water 5 within the tank 15 installed within a wash basin is normally kept at its temperature while being hot water due to a high thermal insulation characteristic in the vacuum space 15c. Accordingly, when the plug 3 is opened, the hot water 5 is mixed with water and then the hot water is fed out from the plug 3. The hot water feeding pipe 11 is short in its length and since the water is low in its volume, so that opening of the plug 3 causes the hot 5 to be immediately fed out.

The water heater 1 responds to this and sends hot water through the hot water supply pipe 8. At this time, since the hot water in the hot water supply pipe 8 is cooled by the outdoor temperature, cold hot water is sent into the tank 4. In the tank 4, the hot water is mixed with hot water 5 kept at a high temperature, and the hot water is discharged from the faucet 3 at an appropriate temperature.

As time passes, the hot water heated by the water heater 1 comes to be directly supplied from the faucet & via the tank 4. When the faucet 3 is closed, the water heater 1 is stopped and the hot water 5 in the tank 4 is kept at a constant temperature by the heater 6. The hot water in the hot water supply pipe 8 is cooled down by the outdoor temperature and remains at a low temperature in a standby state for reuse.

Hot water from the hot water heater is stored in a vacuum container, but since the container is not equipped with heating means, there is no need to provide a temperature heating prevention device, a dry firing prevention device, or an earth leakage breaker. There is no need to install overpressure prevention devices, overpressure relief valves, etc. caused by overpressure, and heat loss is small.

The lower part of the tank 15 is connected to the hot water supply pipe 8 through a hole 16, and the upper part is connected to the hot water supply pipe 11 through a hole 17. In addition, the hot water pipe 11 has a mixing valve 10.
The hot water supply pipe 8 is connected to the water heater 1 via the faucet 3 . One side of the mixing valve 10 is the water supply pipe 12
Connect to. The water heater 1 is configured to supply water through a water supply pipe 13.

The operation will be explained below. When the faucet 3 is turned on, the water heater 1 operates, introducing water from the water supply pipe 13, passing through the hot water pipe 8, tank 15, and hot water pipe 11 as hot water, and mixing it with the water in the water supply pipe 12 at the mixing valve 10. , hot water comes out from faucet 3.

Normally, until the faucet 3 is opened, the hot water stored in the hot water supply pipe 8 is cooled by the outside air and becomes cold water since it is located outdoors. Further, the hot water 5 in the tank 15, which is normally installed inside a washbasin, is kept warm at a high temperature due to the high heat insulation performance of the vacuum space 15c.

Therefore, when the faucet 3 is opened, the hot water mixes with the water 5 and is discharged from the faucet 3. The hot water supply pipe 11 is a short distance, and the amount of water is small, so that hot water 5 comes out immediately when the faucet 3 is opened.

The amount of hot water in the hot water supply piping 8 is determined by the length of the piping, and the tank 15 has a capacity sufficient to accommodate this amount.
This is the setting. Furthermore, new hot water is always supplied to the tank 15 by the water heater 1. Therefore, it is possible to construct a water heater that can dispense hot water even without heating by a heat source.
