(考案が解決しようとする問題点) 従来排水処理施設に於ける汚泥溜めや、原材料
保管用のホツパー等、大量の内容物を溜めておい
て後に取り出す場合には、内容物に相当の圧力が
かかつて流動性が無くなり、又特に乾燥或いは潮
解等の作用で固化したり凝固その他の変化(以下
単に固化と言う)が起る場合にはホツパー内全体
が塊状となつたりする為、内容物を取り出す際に
排出口を開けても内容物が出てこないというトラ
ブルが多発し、何等かの方法で破かねばならず、
排出の都度少なからぬ手間と時間を費やすのが常
であつた。仮にホツパーの側壁面を垂直にし、排
出口の全底面が開くような構造にしても、内容物
と壁面との摩擦抵抗が少なくなつて落下し易くは
なるが、ホツパー中の内容物の量が通常は数tの
単位となる為、これが一度に落下すると下方で受
け取るコンベアや車両等を損傷したり、落下物が
溢れ出るなどの不具合も生じるなど、危険性もき
わめておおきい。

うな状態となつて、垂直に吊り下げられた仕切用
板4,4′が垂直ではなく下部排出口の蓋5,
5′を開けても内容物が落下しなかつたり、仕切
用板4,4′のいずれ一方若しくは両方ともが湾
曲したりする等の問題が完全には解消されない場
合があつた。従つて、仕切用板4,4′は排出口
2が開口するまでは自由に振れることなく垂直に
吊り下げておくことがこの問題を解決するのに重
要である。

ものであれば10tの内容物がはいるホツパーでも
何等問題無く使用出来ることが確認された。
