Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an outer case of this design miniature and lightweight and to simplify the packaging of components by a method wherein a circuit pattern is formed on the inner face of the outer case in one piece, and display windows are provided in the outer case. CONSTITUTION:A circuit pattern 42 is formed on the inner face of an outer case 40 in one piece. A liquid crystal display 50 and an LED 52 are packaged in the outer case 40 in such a manner that the display 50 and the LED 52 are positioned so as to make their display sections face toward indicating windows 44 and 46 respectively and fixed to the inner face of the case 40 through the intermediary of electric connecting terminals 50A and 52A by means of soldering, a conductive bonding agent, screws, or the like. As mentioned above, the display 50 and the LED 52 are fitted to the case 40, the electrically connecting terminals 50A and 52A of the display 50 and the LED 52 are electrically connected to a pattern 42, and these display sections can be viewed from the front side of the case 40 through the display windows 44 and 46. By this setup, an outer case of this design can be made lightweight and easily packaged with components.
