Claims (1)
分離する分離器と、どちらか一方の偏光成分の偏
光方向を９０゜回転させる旋光素子と、この旋光
素子内を通過した光と残りの光を合成する光学系
を合成器として設け、その光を液晶セルに入射さ
せ画像投影を行う装置において、低屈折率の透明
薄膜で金属薄膜を挾んだ３層からなる薄膜をプリ
ズムで挾んだものを偏光分離器として用いること
