Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a multi-colored printed image having brilliance and excellent light resistance in both light color regions and intermediate color regions by using >=2 kinds of inks having different dye concentrations as magenta ink and employing different dyes between the deep color ink and the light color ink. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording is performed with >=2 colored inks including magenta inks and with >=2 kinds of inks having different dye concentrations as the magenta inks wherein different dyes are used between at least two kinds of the magenta inks. Concretely, three primary color inks comprising yellow, magenta and cyan or four primary color inks comprising the three colors and black are preferably used and further a deep color magenta ink using a brilliant dye such as C.I. acid red and a light color magenta ink using a dye such as C.I. direct red 81 having excellent light resistance are preferably used as the magenta inks.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to an inkjet recording method, and more specifically, it provides a multicolor image that has dark and light areas and has excellent light resistance in light and mixed color areas. This invention relates to an inkjet recording method.

(Prior Art) The inkjet recording method records images by ejecting ink droplets from the nozzles of a recording head and absorbing the ink droplets into a recording material such as paper or cloth. This is a recording method that causes less blemishes, does not require special fixing treatment, and allows high-speed recording and multi-color image recording.

Multicolor images can be recorded in yellow (Y), magenta (
This is done by subtractively mixing three primary colors of M), cyan (C), or four primary colors including black (Bk). In other words, three colors of ink or four colors of ink including black are ejected from dedicated nozzles for each color of the recording head while controlling the ejection amount of each ink, and each ink is applied to one pixel of the recording material. A multicolor image is recorded by mixing and absorbing the images.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) When forming the above-mentioned multicolor image, it is necessary to form not only color differences but also color shading, and furthermore, it is necessary to form intermediate color areas.

Therefore, when multicolor images are formed using these dyes, sharp images tend to have poor light fastness, while images with excellent light fastness tend to have poor sharpness.

For example, copper phthalocyanine dyes are generally used as cyan dyes in terms of light resistance, sharpness, and the like. but,
It has been revealed that copper phthalocyanine dye acts as a catalyst and tends to accelerate the photodegradation of some magenta dyes, accelerating the fading of magenta in the color mixture area.

Therefore, a method has been proposed in which a cyan dye is used as a light ink, but does not accelerate the light fastness deterioration of magenta, although it is inferior in clarity. However, with this method, it was not possible to suppress the deterioration of the light resistance of magenta in the color mixture area of the light color magenta ink and the dark color cyan ink.

(Function) In the inkjet recording method, dark colored areas are formed using ink containing a dye with a clear tone, and light colored areas and light intermediate colored areas are formed using a dye that has excellent light resistance and is not accelerated by other dyes. By forming the image using an ink containing the above, it is possible to provide a multicolor image with overall excellent light fastness and clarity.

The ink used in the present invention is preferably an ink of the three primary colors of yellow, magenta, and cyan, or four primary colors with black added thereto. Among these inks, at least the magenta ink is a dark color ink with a high dye concentration and Use two or more types of light-colored ink with a lower dye concentration than the above. Dark inks form high density areas of a multicolor image, and light inks form light or mixed areas of a multicolor image.

The dye concentration of dark ink depends on the color value of the dye used, but numerically it is about 0.8 to 5%,
Similarly, in the case of light color ink, it is about 0.01 to 2% by weight, and for medium density ink, it is about 0.1 to 3% by weight.
.. It is about 0% by weight. For example, C,1, Reactive Red 180 has a relatively high color value, and an ink with a dye concentration of 0.2% by weight can produce a magenta color with a reflection density of 0.1 to 0.5; dyes with low color value, such as c, i, reactive red 1
